    Afternoon all.

huntress. Congrats on becoming a gran :T

ilgd. Good news on the car front. Sorry to hear about the weather near your mums. Being nearer the equator down souf we have had hardly any rain and the weather is rather pleasent today. Indeed if i look out of my window i can see a herd of antelope and parrots flying about circiling the hot midday sun:rotfl: . Not quite but you get my drift.

dreamer. I agree with ilgd. Give a go what have you got to lose. Let us know how it goes.

Well not a lot happening in monkey world at the moment. My DD,s horse show went well. My oldest DD got a special award for the fancy dress and a rosette for the jumping class. The youngest got 4th in the fancy dress:T . Really pleased with that as the standard was very high. They have now sold the horse and are looking for a more progressive pony so that they can come on leaps and bounds. newlywed. Thinking about it i could of lent you the horse when you did not have the car:rotfl:

Seem to be struggling a bit on the budgeting front. Just over £100 left for the month and i need to get petrol and food. Going to be tight but should just about do it. I need to get my behind in gear and sort out this excess spending. Think i will do a spending diary next month as i seem to spend(waste)so much a month.

Fingers crossed i should have 6 days off now as i have a couple of cover days at work owing to me as i have to come in somedays on my days off for meetings etc. I should really be more organised as at work ,i am a first line manager and operational supervisor, i am quite sorted. You have to be.

Anyway as the yard arm is up i am going to put the roast on and have a beer as i have not had one for ages(and it is fathers day). Music is up loud and the sun is out and will sit down later and watch the end of the golf. Finish,s at midnight so that should be good(and it is fathers day).

Anyway hope all is well with you all and i better go or i will be competing for the longest post of the day :rotfl:

    Ta Ta

    Hi Everyone :D

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there!

    hunteress - Congratulations on becoming a Gran!:j

YM - Great news about Argos stopping interest, and well done to your DD in the horse show.
I know exactly what you mean about finding it hard with your budget. I have been absolutely rubbish this month but don't know why I am so short of money at the moment  I think it's going to have to be a spending diary for me.
I take comfort from the fact that although I'm skint, my bills are paid there is food in the cupboard and petrol in the car. I just don't seem to have anything left. I haven't used a credit card since Christmas and know I should be proud of that but sometimes it just seems so hard!

Dreamer - I agree with the others give it a go you have got nothing to lose and the worst that can happen is they say no.

ilgd - Glad the car passed:T I live in the midlands and the weather here has been terrible! Not too bad today but at one point on Friday I thought my car might float down the road it was raining that heavily!

Hope everyone else is ok, nothing much happening in teecee world at the moment. The DMP seems to be going smoothly and only 15 more Saturdays till my holiday in Cypus:T

    Take Care xx

I am 45 this year with the mind of an 18 year old. As i am sitting here i have some sort of dance music on(Cant call it disco now:rotfl: ) and i even caught myself doing some sort of dance move so yes you can do it.

Egypt is somewhere i would love to go. See the triangular things ( cant spell pyrimids. Told you). Before i depart this mortal coil they are on my list of things to do. Not a long list . Have seen the Niagra falls. Going to disney next year so will see Cinderallas castle then it is just the triangular things to see in Egypt..

Perhaps in 2015 i will go and see them(DFD 2014)
