LOVE ME, LOVE MY NEWFOUNDLAND.:A0 -
YM - It has always been a dream of mine to see the pyramids, the idea was I wanted to do it before I was 40, but I'm going with my bestest friend in the whole world and she is not 40 till the end of the year so we planned it to fall in between our birthdays. It's China and the terracotta army for me next hopefully before im 50 if all goes to plan and i can reduce my DFD a bit. I would love to see the grand canyon and Niagra falls also so maybe I might get there one day before I die!DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL

teecee.
Hope the traingular things live up to your expectations.
I must admit Niagra falls were amazing but the surrounding area was a bit dissapointing. Burger King and cheap motels abound.

I believe you can do anything you put your mind to. Do not think of the length of the DMP. At least you have a day to look forward to and you have taken positive steps to achieve your goal :T
Anything is possible if you truly believe you can do it.

Thanks YM Think its going to be quite a while till I get to Niagra Falls but it's having dreams about being debt free and what I will do when that day comes that keeps me going when things look bleak.
I love camping too had some fantastic holidays in a tent!DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL

hi all
Just had a phone call from capital one bit of a strange call really, gentleman was asking about my missed payment. I then said i was dealing with cccs and had sent token payment, he said oh yes we have the details about that on the system. He then said is there any reason why you can not pay the full amount? !!! I said yes i am trying to be responsible and pay off my debts eventually and that by dealing with cccs i am doing that. He did not mention if they had accepted the plan and said he had not received anything from cccs yet.
Is this too early yet i made first payment to cccs on 1st June should they have contacted creditors yet ? Ge money must have details as they have already refused the offer. Anyway he quickly went off the line once i said that (did try and make me pay more but i said sorry contact cccs they will be sending offer soon and that i has only missed one month and sent token payment.) I feel the calls will start up again soon as not had many last week.
bye for now all
take care0 -
Totally agree teecee.
Talking of things you have wanted to do i achieved another one in Canada. I was playing pool in a bar late at night (2am) and bat out of hell came on the jukebox. Perhaps it was my drunken stupor but that for me at the time was the ultimate.:rotfl:
Sorry to go about Canada but another memory that will stick with me for ever is skiing Xmas eve late at night and on Xmas day I drove into the local village(We were staying in a lodge in the mountains near Montreal) 6 foot of snow. As i was driving looking at the amazing scenery Bing Crosby's 'White Christmas' came on the radio. I do not mind admitting i was tearing up by the time i got to the phone to ring my Mum.

bow.
Sorry to hear about you phone call. Well done on not giving in and paying more. You sound like you handled that brilliantly. Just persevere with your creditors. I had heard nothing from Argos until i recieved the statement with no interest. They have not even said that they have accepted yet
they have probably recieved your payment from CCCS and were just chancing their arm.
They will try to get you to pay more but if you stick to your guns and do as you have done you will do splendidly.
ym0 -
bowz25 CCCS take the payments on the 1st of the month but they do not distribute then to creditors until around the 25th. Do not worry about the call from Capital One it is just par for the course. If they ring again just restate that you have started a DMP with CCCS and they will receive details from them shortly if they haven't already.
You need do nothing else, Capital One are one of my creditors and they were the first to accept my DMP they have stopped interest and all charges and have been very good so please try not to worry.
YM - That sounds amazing, isn't it funny how some things stay with you forever!DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL
