hi all,
first can i thank you all for your best wishes.im very touched by your concern.
sandyballs(sorry i really had to try not to laugh at your username...but you cheered me up so thanks).re the debts....please try not to worry,i know ,easier said than done!!!cccs will send you all the things you need.they send a booklet and a template letter that you duplicate and send to all your creditors.you can put a token payment in with your letter(i sent £5 cheques to all mine but you send what you can afford)cccs will calculate how much you have to give your debts.then you pay cccs at the po or by dd every month and they distribute the money to all the creditors.best to stick with cccs not these iva companies, cos they arnt free and most are trouble.you can keep up with cccs by fone or on the website, which is really good.another good site for advice is https://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk which is full of template letters and advice on all sorts.stick with us on this thread and you will be ok.
sea.....i will pm you my address if its ok and will try the flea stuff.have to comb him every day and have resorted to fly spray.sounds cruel re the spray but hes had no ill effects except it keeps the fleas down.cant afford the vet treatments as its £25 a go for a month or so cos hes such a big dog.looks like the one on the itv weather advert and smacheal (sp?)off corrie.great dogs but they are so dopey!!!!!(bless)thanks for the offer, sea, im really grateful and appreciate your kindness..xx
feeling abit better today.yesday was horrendous and couldnt stay on here cos i was so depressed, it was unreal!!!

Hi Everyone!
No bad post for me today - total opposite in fact Hubby spent his ipoints and ordered me a new Bon Jovi album to cheer me up and thank you for support - daft sod have to support him he lets me have a lie in on the weekend
Hi Sandyballs - its definately easier dealing with debts than the worry you get before you tackle them and every month that goes by we owe less and less in the world - seeing as our credit history is stuffed!
I used the national debt helpline and did my own DMP - I am a control freak it works for me! I changed my phone number for free with BT and I deal with letters after my cup of tea and only ever write to creditors that way I am in control, not pressured and trip them up when one person says one thing and another says another!
Take care everyone and I hope the postie is kind to you all

ym.....i always take down the name and time and date of every offficial fone call, then i can astound them when they get it wrong.makes me smile when all the indian call centre workers have really english names, and i feel like saying"oh yeah and your real name is......???"or they give me a name that they have to spell out to you and you think "wish id stuck with the fake name!!!!!People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

Hi sandyballs.
Just one bit of advice. Open a bank account with a bank you don't have any credit or any debt with. That way they can't take your wages to pay off the debts you have with them.
That was my first step before signing up to the DMP - making sure my wages went into an account no-one could touch!!
CCCS have been great for me and as has been said, they send you all the details with all the instructions. They are great on the phone too.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I take down peoples names too, especially if complaining. Did wonder a little though when a guy with an english accent said his name was Osama. Decided not to question it as I wanted to say as in Bin...working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Who would have believed a Debt Free Wanabee has done what the Americans and British have been trying to do for years and track down Osama, who would have guessed hes been working in some Indian call centre all along !!
