Hi toasti. When is your first payment due, do you have the payment slip already?

You can always email them if you are worried - they usually reply the next day.

  • Hi

Just want to say hi really I have contacted CCCS and they have agreed to put me on a DMP. My creditors are HSBC CC, Halifax loan, Halifax OD, Halifax CC, SkyCard, Virgin Money, Capital One, Argos Credit Card. HFC. I am currently going to send them all the standard letter that CCCS sent me and a token payment for £1.00 i am actually scared out of my wits that they are going to bombard my parents phone to speak to me do you know if i can stop this. I dont mind if they want to ring my mobile 400 times a day ill just answer and provide them CCCS number and my reference. I feel great that i am dealing with my debts but dont know what is worse been scared to death of these phone calls that will soon start or just struggling each month. Sorry for the rant sure things will improve.

    Steve :)

Hi burkey. I wrote to the address on my credit card statements (not with Halifax), bank account statement and rang for a redemption figure on the loan and when the letter came through I wrote to that address.

    Hope that helps a little?

With the phone calls, if they ring your parents and you are not there, they can't really say anything as they aren't talking to the customer. One rang my parents and I'd moved out. If you are in, just say it isn't convenient to talk and you'll call them back. That's what I did when they rang my mobile at work too.

Then when you ring them back, ask them to change the number to your mobile.

Someone did post a letter asking them to only write and not phone. Sure someone will come along that knows where it is.

Hi newlywed.I do not have anything from cccs in the way of slips,no.Think I will email them just to check they have my info (sent it registered delivery so should not be any problems there). Woman I spoke to there said it should start on 1st July so that's why I think I should now contact them...

I think they told me it would take about a week to get my slip. Don't panic, even if it's meant to start on 1 July you have up until 10th July to make the first payment ;)

I started mine on the 9th of the month!!!

But yeah if worried, just give them a ring.

Hi, I am in same situation as you, i sent off my statements and send the letter to creditors telling them I was going on a dmp, called cccs and told me they had a bit of a backlog but were getting through as quick as possible, my first payment is due out 1/7 and said hopefully by the end of the month they willl have contacted all my creditors, so I wouldnt worry too much just yet.
