thats spooky,im having same trouble.owed least to them and had most hassle.just got £24 refund for overlimit charges cos i owed £419 and they put the limit down from £450 to £400.sneaky, eh???

Very sneaky! We are £300 over the limit at the mo but they've stopped charges and interest finally. We were £60 under the limit when we started

They owe us some charges too, figure I'll use it to my advantage when I calculate F&Fs

when i foned mint about the overlimit charges, she said the letters and charges were comp generated so im thinking they are dodgy and would ring them and ask for them back plus the interest they have generated.
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

    Morning.

Mint are one of my creditors (loan as well as a CC). They have defaulted me on the CC but said nothing about the DMP payments at all. Have written again to ask them if they have heard from CCCS but no reply yet

They have said nothing about the loan at all. Not one word. Not even a phone call about missed payment. No letter to confirm they've changed the name over to my new name. Nothing.

Hope it doesn't take them 4 months to stop interest. They are the only ones I've not heard anything from at all. Getting a bit fed up that they can't even acknowledge a letter or a change of name request (been sent three times now - to three different Mint addresses as there seems to be different addresses for loan applications, customer services, loan redemption etc).

Think I'll have to try the technique of keep pestering them till they reply. Might try ringing up about the loan at least, but have to wait till I'm not at work ;)

Owe them a considerable amount more than £450 though - owe them my years wages

    HI :)
My liv vic loan haven't sent me anything bou the dmp, so I'm assuming that they have accepted it! It was front loaded interest so I'll still be paying all the interest so I guess they're happy.

Hope you get it sorted today.

Oh course. That would make sense. The interest (and PPI ) is already added on so I guess it's just a case of extending it as they still get the interest. Just hope they aren't charging me too :o

Could you not still cancel the PPI? It's of no benefit now! :)

Thought of that that before the DMP - managed to cancel all the credit card PPI. Apparently I would probably need to take out a new loan with a new interest rate (and since my credit rating is much worse than it used to be I doubt very much I would get the 7% ish APR so would probably be stung anyway) Plus they don't even answer my letters asking them to change my name and address - doubt very much they will answer one asking to take PPI off and reduce what I owe :rotfl:
