Have a great day

Morning all.
YM Good luck with the bank charges, the feeling you get when you win them back is brilliant, hoping my current claim off the credit card goes well, as it will clear that card and leave enough to pay off the smallest creditor too!! Which as you said its surprising how much they add up to, when i did my first claim against natwest bank account i must have added it up 50 times as couldnt belive they owed me over a grand!!!
Lovely and sunny here a cheap day in the garden planned, but may treat us to a few beers as didnt spend as much as i though we would at ds3 football presentation night last night, took £60 as it was at a place in town where drinks are stupidly priced and with 4 kids that drink like fish thought i would have spent up, but still have £40 left due to being bought drinks by the football club commitee most of the night as a thank you for helping run the team.
Have a good day everyone

OOoh YM & dreamer hope you both have lovely days - the bouncy castle sounds good
As does the forest too - my 2 really enjoyed themselves on fri collected pine cones etc for nature pics.
dlb - how nice of the footie teamAlways god when you get a surprise like that! Hope you have a good day in the garden - still sunnyish here but not for long I fear. Although I am glowing with sunburn enough to heat both kids - who are of course white as sheets due to my fussing!

Hello
valley's girl I hope the weather from your side of the country isn't heading our way this afternoon. Oh well if it does we will just have to use the grill and have an indoor BBQ.
dlb That was nice of the footie club. It shows you are very much appreciated
sea Thank you.
It is a non-cook day for me today as OH will do the BBQ. OH never cooks unless its a BBQ.Make £10 a day challenge: November - £0/£3000 -

What a lot of posts to catch up on. Hope you are all well and I have learned a lot from reading your posts.
When people talk about re claiming bank charges are we talking about late payment charges?
There have been so many posts since I last looked in I have forgotten to thank many of you for particular posts so here is a thank you to everyone. What a wonderful bunch you all are for a complete lack of nastiness and criticism. I am humbled not that I am nasty or critical you understand.
We will look at claiming back bank charges as we have paid masses. Have had my american cousin over for the day of Fri and she was hinting at credit card debt so it is not just us. How do you put in these smilies etc? Do you just click on them and ignore funny symbol that comes up?
Have a good day all. Welcome to any new posters.
Incidentally I read all this thread although I know I don't post as much as some. I really value it as it keeps me sane and cheers me up. Like ILGD I don't have hardly any friends around to discuss with. We are very isolated in East Anglia.
Hope your MIL is ok Rachel. Must be very worrying as if you haven't got enough on your plate.0 -
Hi Dr J!
Yes, you just click on the smilies - the symbol is the code for it.
Yes, the charges are late payment fees above £12 - so I have several at £25 and some at £72 over the last 6 years so will be claiming them back!
Like you, I don't post as much on the thread as some but find it very reassuring and a true support hug on bad days!

Hi Dr J and Sea :hello:
Just popped in to say that I'm off on another course tonight (the petrol costs are crippling me!), so won't be around til Tuesday maybe.
Take care and speak then.
