Hiya everyone.
How are you all? Good i hope.
I had good new yesterday, finaly got my credit card statments i requested from `one` of the credit cards on my DMP.
It has £500 worth of charges on, so have sent letter requesting them back ( getting a dab hand at this reclaim process now!!) If i get them it will clear the cards ballance and leave me £100 up, so another creditor will be gone, so fingers crossed.
I helped my friends claim her bank charges back and her went almost to court date before they finally gave in and paid up over 2k back to her, so im no longer worried about getting as far as court stage as been there with my friend and know what im doing!!
Other than that, things going well all bills paid and upto date, used my money i got back from tax credits to buy bricks to finish off patio and treat me and dh to sun loungers!! Now we just need some sun.
Just to think this time 16 months ago pre Dmp, we would have never been able to think about buying things like that never mind do it.
I love my dmp, it has changed my life and made me learn to budget infact moneysaving has turned out in some ways to be fun gives us something to focus on.
Sorry to go on just feeling realy positive at the minute, hope some of it rubs off on you all

Good morrow
Well this new look is good. Just like walking into the Big brother house as that has had a revamp too. Very modern looking and so far easy to find your way around (this site not the BB house). Apologies for non BB fans i will try to hide my obsession for that programme whilst on here.
worrygirl. Welcome to you. This is a fantastic place with wonderfull people. You will get everthing you want here to assist you on your road to DFD.
Craftingqueen. Cannot help with Argos im afraid. They are one of mine and I have heard nothing either. Let us know if you do.
ilgd and smiley. Kind words indeed from such valued members of this forum. Thank you very much for that.
dreamer. Are you idaas ?????.
Love a mystery. Hope i am not right then the intrigue can continue.( Dont mean that i,d love to be right ). Went to insert a smiley then but it is not showing(rotfl). Think i may have to rethink my first statement. Any body else having the same problem????
Have a good one

Hi dlb -I was just about to put a question on about whether you can claim charges back from the companies you are in a DMP with and whether it would affect your DMP when I logged on and saw your post! Does it not affect your DMP at all then?
Thanks

Forgot to say what an uplifting post. Thanks for that and you 'go on' for as long as you like. Certainly lifted me and my day ahead.

Morning all
DLB what an inspiring post. I really want to claim from Hellifax. They are in my DMP for the credit card but I still run 2 badly OD current accounts. The charges would sort that out. I'm scared to do it in case they close the accounts.
Hello to everyone else. Lovely sunny day today.0 -
Morning all. So tired this morning my brain is only half here so the new look site is confusing me!! Like it though, much fresher and neater looking.dreamer999 wrote: »All wrong guesses so far.
