    Welcome worrygirl :hello:

You have come to the right place. We are all worried at times (this is one of those times for me), but it's a rollercoaster ride, so when you're down, someone picks you up, and when you're up, you can help someone else... does that makes sense??!

When did you start your ball rolling? Who have you taking your DMP out with?

    ILOVE
    - blimey, you are a chatterbox today! I did the Lovefilm thing but they messed up the set-up so my username was wrong and I couldn't cancel it in time, so had to pay £9.99 or whatever for the first month. Just a warning, make sure you cancel it straight away just in case you end up having problems.

I'm never very lucky with these free trial thingies. I had major problems cancelling Lycos due to a website fault and no blooming telephone number to call, just silly computer generated emails. Thinking will stop doing them.

I'm getting very much back on the wagon. Going to sort out pots for everything (although they will have to wait for 3 weeks to be filled!!!). Going to have a separate groceries purse so have my weekly amount in there and don't spend anymore. Might even try to repay the £40 into my £2 savings jar that I've had to use this month. It could be my emergency fund (not much, I know!).

Ex - hello!!!!!!!!!!! I was saying to teecee earlier today that I hadn't spoken to you for AGES. I haven't had time to read back through the posts but she said you had been on. Sorry to hear about the nasty letter from CCCS. Sounds a bit extreme. Guess they would play the "computer generated" card if you asked them about it. How did the review go? Blimey, you are so good at the Quidco thing.... what do you do on it??! I've had £6 or something in 4 months!!

    Hi to everyone else.

    smilealot :rolleyes2

P.S. I'll back up ILOVE's statement about YM's thoughtful posts. That goes for everyone else on here too - thanks x

ILGD and Sea thanks for discussing the Lovefilm thing as I had the same questions.

Worrygirl, hello and welcome. Stick with us. We've all been were you are and are working through it. There are good days and there are bad days but you have taken the first step and once you get the creditors to agree to the DMP it gets easier.

Smilealot. I had cashback on house and car insurance. I've also had some through buying on ebay and I've taken every free magazine trial or 3 for £1 going. I also do the clicks on kelkoo, carsource etc. I admit that I haven't done them since the end of March but I'm getting back into it.
  • Hi everyone how are all of you doing, hope everyone is o.k.

Had a default from Nationwide, but as far as we are aware they have not accepted DMP.
Sent lloydtsb another letter on tuesday hoping they will read it this time???
Still getting calls from them every single day more than once a day.

Has anyone had any dealings with Argos? they are taking our payments from payplan but haven't said whether they are gonna accept a Dmp.
