  • Morning All :)
I have received my default from mercers this morning rung them up they won't accept the amount because they only accept 1% which they have no chance. The lady was quite nice however and told me to go to Cab I explained that most of my other creditors have accepted.
Have tried to ring cab but it is engaged all the time. Unless I can make an appointment I want be able to go down and wait due to my illness. I have to talk to cab within a week it looks like I am going to have the same trouble with littlewoods.
Oh well will try and ring cab again.
Hope everyone has a good day with the postie and hi to all the newbies I haven't had much chance to read through the posts due to feeling rough.

Sorry to hear of your problems. Hope you get them sorted soon and start to feel better.

Postie has not been yet so no news there. Went shopping today with DD's and did not do to bad even though 4 yoghurts is not enough for them. They seem to need 18 of the things. God knows why. Perhaps i can send the empty pots to sea for her plants.

  • Thanks ym :)
I know what you mean about the yoghurts I have started buying the cheaper ones now.
Hope the postie has been and you have good news,

My God I actually spoke to someone helpful at HSBC
Asked which address to send letters and token payments to and he gave me it so quite pleased with that:)
O yes...when I send my statements to CCCS would it be OK if I sent the EGG one as a print out off internet as they do not send paper copies of statements?

Should not be a problem as i have the done the same with Payplan. I somehow once even had a 'Mr Babbage' Moment and sent a copy of EGG statement to Payplan electronically. Dont ask me how as I have not been able to do this since.

  • Thanks for the advice Newlywed. :T :T :T

I've just had my post arrive and it made me laugh out loud (not something that happens very often at the moment!).

Anyway, I got a statement from MBNA showing my token payment for last month and NO INTEREST added. Next months estimated interest is also zero, so that anwers another of my questions! :D:D:D

We also got some shiny new credit cards from Natwest - that's what made me laugh!!:confused::confused:

And I got some cheques and postal orders from Ebay sales.

What a great start to the day. :j :j :j

Now I just have to wait until the Halifax call - I'm in a fighting mood today!! If they can be nice to my hubby, they can be nice to me too!!

Hope the postie has been nice to everyone else.

    Bye for now.

Thanks for that will do it later on. For my personal loan I have the contract I signed would that be OK to send? HSBC gave me an estimated fugure when I rang them you see.
Have got my fighting head on for this...had a couple of missed calls from hsbc cardholder services at 8am!!!!!!!! That is why I rang them up at HSBC today but their computers were down (!!!)
Off to my parents today to sit in the garden for the afternoon...it is really difficult not telling them but I feel I would be a disappoinment to them. So I am going to tell them on my DFD I have decided (only 3 years to go lol!!)

    Hi

    Postie has just been.

One was for a DD I set up for my water company. Old account details on it. Waste of space this company as it took me a month to set it up in the first place.

Second letter was from the lovely EGG regarding my CC account. As I have not complied with the default etc they have passed it out to an external DCA. Nice to know they are understanding(not) and ,according to Payplan, they have accepted my offer. Mind you reading previous posts regarding EGG i should expect nothing less. Anyway in the hands of my case officer now so I will forget that one, pick myself up of the floor, dust myself off , and carry on with daily life and enjoy the rest of the day.

Hope you all have a good one and have to go now and get ready for work(Hurrah)
