We send everything recorded too, much simplierNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Once you have posted it off you have done your best it really is up to them to respond and no one can say you have not done your best to get in contact.
You can put in your letter all the attempts you and payplan have made to contact them via telephone and that you will stop payments until you receive further instruction from them.
That sort of tone.0 -
Cool so my payment on Monday may be my last one. I'll get PayPlan to remove them then or wait a month?0
-
Let the monday one happen then get Payplan to remove it awaiting details of who you should pay in the future. I have a feeling they will be pretty quick once you say no more payments until they supply who payments should be made too!0

Just hear from CCCS about Great Universal. They say the debt is owed to General Credit Company and to contact them direct. So have drafted a stroppy letter.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

my latest email from PP
These are the details used since the beginning of the plan, when did you fist take this account? I can confirm that this is an account for GE Capital, First National belong to this same group. I wouldn’t suggest you to take the balance off the plan and stop the payments, until you actually receive a confirmation from them that they are not dealing with that account as Viking confirmed to us they are, they are FGE Capital’s financial wing. The last letter you forwarded to us regarding this account was in July 2006, so it is clear someone was chasing the payments.
The payments have not been returned, and the fact that they are sending to you a letter quoting the same balance doesn’t mean that they haven’t received the payments, but it doesn’t seem fair or that they are being very clear to you.
What I think would be best is to confirm if they are actually dealing, and request a breakdown of all the charges they are applying and also a copy of the contract you first signed, because they have to comply with the interest rules there stated. I would also suggest you to seek further advice at the Office of Fair Trading because if they have been receiving payments since 2006, the balance should not be the same.
They haven't sent me a letter.
I shall be asking for my CCA then.0 -
My letter:
REF: xxxxxxxxxx
I am writing to enquire about who is dealing with my account. The account details currently being used for payment are Account: xxxxxx Sort code: xxxxxx. I am requesting a copy of my CCA, which I am entitled to under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (Sections 77−79), and a breakdown of all the charges you are applying.
I have been advised to contact the Office of Fair Trading because you have been receiving payments since 2006, and the balance should not be the same. I can check this by viewing my credit report.
If you can’t supply me with my CCA within the allocated 12 working days or I’ve had no information on who is dealing with my account. I shall stop payment.
I look forward to your reply.0 -
Hello everyone,
Firstly I just want to say that after reading a great deal of posts on this forum, I am bowled over by the support and understanding that is displayed. Already, after just 18 hours of being a member of this site I'm feeling better about my debt.
As you'll see on my signature I'm not in huge amounts of debt, but it's more than I can deal with (single mum, mediocre job, tax credits cut etc, etc). For weeks I have been ignoring the letters from my creditors, until it got to the point where I realised I had already defaulted on nearly £400 worth of payments in about six weeks. I knew there was no way I could get myself out of that, and after reading a post on here on Monday I went onto the CCCS website, and filled out their debt remedy form. They suggested a DMP that would cost me £178 a month (compared to the £300+ at the moment), and would take five years to clear my debt. Wow, amazing. But I can't help feeling it's to good to be true.
Yesterday I received my DMP agreement and the Notification of DMP template to send to my creditors. The letter advised me to cancel all payments to my creditors, and make token payments until the DMP is in place. Really? Do I really cancel those payments now?!?! The letter also says that my payment to CCCS is due on the first of the month, but I haven't received any payment details for them.
I have gathered together all the info CCCS wanted, and the notification letters are already to post. So what happens now? When will I hit the brick wall again and it all comes crashing around my ears?
For the ten years that I have been old enough to get credit I having been getting myself in too deep and clawing my way back out again. This time I want it to be for good, but is the "perfect" solution too perfect???? I don't want to spend the rest of my life giving excuses to my little girl. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!LBM: 14.01.08 - Debt at 25.04.08: £7420.925.06.10: 3200.00 :T I'm over half way there!!! :j

I would cancel the payments and send a token amount it will give you a little extra in your pocket this month.
Also if you are including your current overdraft do you have another bank account set up to use? Also if your loan or credit card are with the same bank you bank with you need to change, eg, I banked with Lloyds and had a credit card with them so had to open another bank account as they can take money out you current account.
Someone else will come along who has dealt with CCCS I do my own DMP so cannot help with queries specfic to them!
But huge welcome to you0
