i should have been so lucky!!!!id just not pay anything else and wait for them to contact you.

I'm with Payplan and they just aren't listening to me. I've told them I don't want to pay but they just increased my balance from £450ish to £907

So I'm thinking of telling payplan to stop payments to First National is that the right thing to do? What if they say no?

Archer I saw an advert last night that the chelsea building society are doing mortgages for people with poor credit and CCJs - please consider I have had no experience with them but I am certainly interested a bit further down the line going with a company that people have heard of!
  • debragg....am with cccs but am sure if you explain to pp whats happening they know what options are.could you ask them to take fn off your creditor list and just pay the others. you can add and remove creds at any time.you could deal with fn yourself with the stuff from nat debtline if you got their folder.you could also either leave pp and do your own or try cccs instead.atm would it be better to pay the others extra whilst you are going nowhere with fn,and put some dosh aside every month in a ssep savings a/c to pay fn when its sorted??
    good luck, xx

  • archer....id try to get a diff morgage comp cos at the mo, nr could put a charge on easier cos they owe your home till you pay the mortgage.think the letter to the judge as very good idea and the right thing to do.

    Hi all,
Sorry can't help on mortgage questions ;)

Been having problems with Great Universal catalogue  owe them less than £100 compared to the £K that I owe everyone else and yet they are being a pain!

Have been paying them each month since May and yet they have just sent my balance and they have only applied £10 to my balance. Rang them to ask what they've done with the rest and they won't talk to me or write to me unless CCCS request it as it is to save me "getting stressed"

They reckon they had payment in Oct and Dec but nothing else and they can't see anything earlier as it would be on the old system. They said they would mark up that I dispute the balance.

Have emailed CCCS but 2 days and no reply yet.

Not sure what to do next.

I have today total them to remove FN but whenever I try to tell them anything they don't understand, at first they told me the figures on their system, then they change the balance to the correct figure.

I would write to them as a FORMAL COMPLAINT, read through this

    http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/consumer_credit/oft664.pdf

see if they have broken any of the guidelines and include them in the letter also tell them that the representative you spoke to confirmed she could not see if I had paid anything as its on the old system - which is ridiculous. And point out you dispute the balance.

I know I bore everyone with my official complaints but these companies wont bloomin listen to us!

    Not bored honest!

It just really annoying that I owe them a teeny tiny amount out of the whole total debt and they are being stinky about it  And I'm sure they think well it's only about £30 but for goodness sake it's my £30 and if they didn't want it - it could go to someone else!!

And as for the whole we won't speak to you because you deal with CCCS is ludicrous!! I said it's not like CCCS bought my debt is it? It's still my debt, it's still me that owes it to you and it's my money and I want to know what you've done with it!!!

  • newlywed....you have my symapathies.marshall ward has been exactly same.i have spent hours going from m/w to ccs and round and round.....have sorted now but m/w wont take off a late charge added to my a/c after promising they would.no dept will talk to each other so have given up and cccs just keep paying the fiver to em.its my lowerst debt as well.think they stress ppl on purpose so it makes em look good and ppl accept it cos they get sick of head bashing. good luck.
debragg...good advice from rayday, as ever.id pack pp in if it was me and do my own or move to cccs.
