I got another default last week - the reduced payment was only agreed for 6 months on my loan and so since I have no way to increase my payments any further, they've defaulted me. Oh well. Just another to add to the listworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0

Hi newlywed!:hello:
Just called CCCS and Metropolitan hopefully its sorted, for now anyway. Just have to see if Metropolitan accept my payment - fingers crossed! A curious thing is the outstanding balance has been reduced by £3,000can only assume this is the PP but does that mean I'm going to be chased seperately for that
??
Thanks CCCS I'm not sure where I'd be if I hadn't found them and this site back in February! This site and them really have saved me on more than one occasion in the past 12 months :A and I've stopped smoking to boot yay!!
love and hugs

can I ask what creditors people have & who have frozen charges?0
-
Hi debrag.
Mine are:
First direct - reduced interest after first DMP payment, from about 20% down to 6% - no other charges at all.
GE Money - initially refused but then stopped interest and charges completely after about 2 months - now with debt collection agency
Mint card - ignored my letters for months and eventually issued a default and stopped interest and charges (after about 5 months)
Mint loan - agreed reduced payments for 6 months and just issued a default.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
just heard from payplan:
HFC Bank plc, Lloyds Collections Loans, Lloyds TSB Bank plc, Lloyds TSB Overdrafts are still charging me interest.
So it looks like MBNA, Barclaycard, Capital One aren't charging so thats good news.0 -
Capital One stopped interest quite quickly for us but they want reviews every 6 months and wanted a big increaseNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130
