Hello!
Thought I had better creep in and say hello!
Been a hectic week this week, plumber all week, and yesterday meeting with school inspectors - oh what an exciting life!
Hope I have not missed anything major.
Mrs Dane I just realised I never said anything about your son, I hope he is OK and nothing too bad wrong - take care!0 -
Hi guys,
Hope everyone is well. So glad it is Friday :-)
I have heard nothing from creditors so far, they have now all been contacted by Payplan so guess it's just a waiting game. I have sent them all letters and token payments too. Sad as it sounds I kind of want to hear from them so I know what is happening. I guess the fact that none of the accounts are in arrears as yet is why, although after this months due dates they will be.
On a nicer note it's my birthday tomorrow so plan on having a spoilt weekend with boyfriend, family and friends :-)

hi all.
sortingit......many happy , (early) congratulations on your birthday.hope you have a wonderful day.xx
rayday....so thats where you have been hiding!!hope all is going well and you are not bailing out or anything!!!hosp foned re ds and said all tests been normal.which is good news.......but, and theres always a but!!!.....that means we are no nearer to solving the stomach ache mystery, which he keeps getting.we are now keeping a food diary to discuss at his appoitment.dh is waiting for his op app then sees doc in april 08 to see whats up.is at hosp next week to see diff doc for blood tests for the iron.
had letter from aktiv cap saying they cant send mre original docs for my debt as they never got them from when they bought it, so as a gesture of good will they will accept 50% off(650quid)if i can pay b4 3 weeks!!a/c is run by iqor who said my bal was only £673 so god knows where aktiv got 1500 from.im not foning aktiv cos,1....i havent got the dosh to settle....and 2. they may say i owe 1500 after all.thats why im not taking the lost documents any further.if i was single with nothing to lose ,id front them out and take em to court so they had to prove stuff, but tbh,im a coward and it may be the debt would go back double so ill leave it.i know......eevery little helps but sometimes i cant be bothered to rock the boat and will keep on paying cccs.did help that the lady from iqor was really nice and actually sounded human!!!!
anyway, must go.keep in touch everyone.

Hello,
I am posting rather late as i cannot sleep:idea: zzzzz
Any way i have been in a DMP with CCCS for 5months now and it hasn't been th easiest of rides. It has been very stressful as you all well know, my problem is at he moment is with MBNA.
I took a loan out with them (initially virgin) 3years ago and unfortunately run into difficulties. They initially rejected my reduced payment offer and sent me letters asking me to make top up payments. ''which i explained to them i couldn't do''
i received a letter on the 11/09/07 offering me a partial settlement of 45% and would look to break this over 3months.
I ran them up to discuss it and it was accepted so i made a first installment and have agreed a date for the next 30/10/07.
I the rung them up on the 25/09/07 having not received a letter of confirmation the woman then told the agreement had been declined. Obviously i was shocked and said well you have take the first installment of the agreement. She said about my circumstances etc and i stated i had returned to part time employment so my circumstances financially are not better.
so she went back to the partial settlement team for me !!!!!!!!!!
I later received correspondence from her saying they had expected after looking into my circumstances again, and she could certainly assure me after speaking with her manager and the team it was all ok. (i.e the 3 installments !!) They would get he letter out to me etc etc PHEW i thought !!!
BUT i later received another letter 27/09/07 that they had expected the partial settlement offer of the whole 45% i.e they wanted 2500 in 14working days.
I rang my account holder again and she assured me it was only a standard letter, and the 3month installments to pay my partial settlement is still honored. OK...... THEN ......
I received a letter on the 17/10/07 offering me yet another payment plan of short settlement. I yet again rang her up and she said just ignore the letter and she had no control over what letters the system kick out etc. Confirmed my next payment and left it at that.......
Right now i am very concerned i still haven't received a letter confirming the first settlement plan etc instead they sent me a standard letter. I'm genuinely worried and do not know how to deal with this TBH. It is confusing me the woman says one thing after they supposedly honored the agreement.
I don't know what to do really any advice pleaseCouldn't be prouder to be dealing with my debts :T:rotfl:

ah, you not the only one i am awake too if that helps.
my advice - write to them never speak. there is a list somewhere of things they can and can't do somewhere. say to them that you need a written agreement and you can't pay anything until then. play them at their own game.Saving £12k in 2015
January : £200
