I wondered where you had got too smilealot annd have the same attitude to posting as you nowadays. The pressure seems to have eased a lot for me too. Teaching is not so good as it used to be so what will you be doing? You may remember I was a teacher as well for many yrs.
I have missed your posts but can easily understand you posting infrequently. Teecee is still around by the way.
Take care of yourself and keep smiling.

Hey Peeps.
Not heard a lot from DMP side.
CCCS are saying that my Intelligent Finance account numbers/sort code are wrong and wont pay it to that account. I have called Intelligent Finance and confirmed they are the details I need to use to make payment, but CCCS say it doesn't match usual format? Ah well.. I have wrote Intellignet Finance a letter to get the details in writing to send to CCCS.. but had a letter back today saying they dont have any records of my loan with them.. lol.. Maybe I will get away without paying (Wishful thinking!!!).. So have sent them another letter with more details to try and get account/sort code to pay in writing.
Had my first contact with Black Horse today.. a letter saying that they have agreed a Temp Arrangement for 6 Months of DMP Payments at their concession which they can withdraw if they want yadayda. It says Late Payment interest will continue to be added while I am in arrears. Should I send a letter requesting Interest be stopped? Or will CCCS try to do this for me? Or should I just leave it and not do anything.
Haven't heard anything else from Smile at all apart from the initial letter to say I've missed my payment a couple of weeks ago.
Hope everyone is well
Lovely Weekend so been out today trying to make the most of it!! (Without spending of course!)0 -

Hi again :hello:
Thanks for the nice greetings guys. I'm job hunting for another teaching post at the moment. My subject specialism is in great demand at the moment, so I shouldn't have too many problems with that. Really want to rent a place on my own though, as sharing with random people is starting to irritate me, but it costs many many more pennies... if only I had an other half to split the bills with. There's my DFW solution, ha ha!!
Of course I hadn't forgotten you Hunteress - as if! I think about you guys quite a lot actually. I haven't had internet access for over a month since moving into my current address, so that can be partly blamed for my absence!
YM - I love your saying on your signature. It really made me think.
Dr J - hi! I'm sticking with the teaching for now. Do you ever miss it? There have been points recently when I've seriously considered throwing in the towel, but I feel I owe it to my bank manager to justify a lot of my debt caused by lack of earnings when training by doing another year! Glad to hear things have quietened down for you.
On the DMP front, has everyone had their six month review? I'm sure mine is overdue but I've not heard anything. Is it PayPlan/CCCS who notify you?
Sleep well poppets.

Smilealot,
I miss the children/teenagers and colleagues sometimes but not the rest. Well maybe miss some imparting of knowledge, helping someone learn/succeed, etc. you know what I mean.
Not had our 6 mth review yet but not far off. They must notify us as they are the ones wanting to review so sit back and relax.
Good luck with the job hunt and also with the manhunt
ILGD,
Talk to us we like to hear from you.

hi all
i had letter yesterday from cccs they are going to ring me soon about 6 month review (has anyone already had one and any idea what i would need to prepare for this.
It says bank statements and car invoices for repairs etc phone costs.
Since we started dmp in June we have had car costs for exhauset, and mot is this week and also road tax, not had chance to build up much funds for this. I know this is just to help you to see if you can increase, i think we will have to stay the same at the moment. My oven went about 2 months ago and i am still managing without it. (still got grill and hob) not easy though.
I really do not know what to do about christmas, i am trying to buy things weekly if i can. . I use to spend about £400 each on them (hence the debt) but this year its going to be a lot less of course. My family are aware of the problems and understand. The children are 12 and 7 and said they would like to share a wi games console if possible.
I know others are in same position, anyone else had 6 month review with cccs yet?
bye for now
take care all0 -
Hello all,
I lurk around these boards and occasionally post - but figured I should join in on the DMP thread as a fellow DMPer myself
Have been running my own now for a couple of years after falling out with Payplan
Hope you're all well!0 -
Hi pinkkat - welcome to the group!
bows - arrgh! I didn't know you needed to save bank statements etc. Oops. Mine don't look that good at all. Nightmare. And I don't think I've kept car repair receipts etc. I assumed we wouldn't need to show anything, just like the first timeAnyone know? Am I up the creek without my paddels?!
Think I should I my payments a wee bit to PayPlan, but my rent is going to be much more expensive come January... what to do?
smilealot :rolleyes2

Did you pay via bank card for your repairs or cheques because then you can offer bank statements??
Hi ya pinkkat - nice to see another mad person doing there own DMP, having fun with mine at the moment two companies suddenly chasing one! Oh the joys after nearly 18 months you wouldnt think it would happen!0
