Bit fed up with CCCS now. Was due a 3 month review and emailed to say the only evening I'm free and in for more than about 20 minutes is Monday. So they replied and said call us when you can or else email your review. So I emailed via their website saying these are the only changes but can my payment stay the same. The reply is that I need to ring them  I work in an open plan office - we're talking all staff in the company in one office and it's not that noisy an office so EVERYONE will hear. Thanks - but NO!

Why tell me I can email instead and then when I email tell me I have to ring?

Egg sent me my default notice about 2 months ago. That's when my debt was passed onto the DCA...........still haven't heard anything??

    Should i be worried?!

Why not drop them a secure message via their website and just ask what is going on.

    Good luck

I had that with FD. So I rang and said how come you amalgamated the accounts but I'm getting charged on the other account? They said sorry, their error, they will wipe it off ;)

I remember you saying that they were only charging you a low % rate on your account. They have stopped all charges and interest on mine. Might be worth asking if they can do the same.

PS dont tell them i told you that though or they might start charging me (Ha Ha )
  • I know it is me again :D:D:D

Just thought i would share with everbody on here that this is my 1000th post and i could think of no better place to post it than on the thread where i posted my first ever.

Hmmm sounds like a plan... they were the first to accept the DMP (2 days after CCCS contacted them) so even the low rate seemed good. Over all the debt, my interest payments have gone down from £750+ a month to approx £40 a month ;) Though I guess over 5 years that still adds up quite a bit.

What do you suggest I say? I know a yellowmonkey on a DMP and you've stopped interest for him? ;)

Or go for the since I have been good making payments, and you are the only ones charging me interest, is there any chance you could stop interest to enable me to pay the debt off quicker?

Well I guess they can only really say no!!

I would go with option 2. As you say they can only say no and if you don't ask you dont get.

Look i am hogging the thread again. huntress will think i DO spend all my day on here :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Let us know how you get on. Mind you I did not ask they seemed to do it out of the goodness of their hearts

How much did you owe though? Maybe that makes a difference? Mine was about 8K (to them) - though it is now less than that.

  • Hello again folks,

Cried a lot las night but got my head around things today.

How long as any of you had a DMP for? and what sorts of things have creditors done in this time?

Some creditors are saying they have not even heard from payplan and they have sent paper work twice now.

Does capital one or morgan stanley accept DMP plans with payplan?
