I know what you mean YM those shoes are weird, thankfully I bought dd school shoes early in the school hols in the clarks sale (very mse lol). But had to go and get ds no2 and 3 shoes last week now in mens sized 8.5 and 6.5 and it cost me £78 for both - generally last 12 months though so shouldn't complain too much!

ym.....re the clarks dollys.its just a thing the female race has about shoes that men will never understand:D , prob akin to men and motors(that women dont understand,as to a woman, as long as it keeps going, doesnt matter, cos a cars a car at least youre safe now for while:rotfl: xx
jusr rescued my washing, as it started spitting.....the rain, not the washing:rotfl: had to go in the evil tumble drier, that dries laundry, and eats leccy:eek:
back to skool for ds on tues, the hols seem to have flown by, and the lunch cheques commence once more!!!

Nothing to report from here either, other than one of my creditors cashed my token cheque. Still haven't heard from them yet though :T

Newlywed went away a week ago - don't know if it was for a week or 2. Hi all - quiet in my world thankfully. Proof to the new people that things do calm down and life does carry on and you WILL be able to smile again - honest!!!

Hi all. Was away in Wales - Oh my is Rhyl a bit scummy and run down or what???? Still meant that the only supermarkets we found were Aldi and Morrisons so the evening (self catering) food budget was ok - it's just the lunches out and icecreams that meant we spent too much!!

And never go away with another family who have lots more money than you as your kids will always want everything the other family buy!!! :rolleyes:

Still it was a good break and we went to a few different towns and swimming pool was on site so we went swimming for free nearly every day

Am broke now though and 3 weeks till payday

Welcome back Newlywed - know what you mean about Rhyl it does leave a lot to be desired!!! LLandudno and Colwyn Bay were nice. We found some lovely spots though and did some beautiful walks. Which park did you stay at? I've never seen so many caravans in my life, we were at Park resorts just outside Rhyl and only went in to Rhyl once! Check out my post on the spending holiday thread I started it tells how much we spent!!!

We were actually in log cabins at a Country Park and Leisure centre in Dyserth (we didn't book it or pay either ). So it was really a bit nearer Rhuddlan (??) and a little south of Rhyl and Prestatyn.

Finally convinced the other family to go to Llandudno on the last day - they weren't going to bother in case it was like Rhyl :rolleyes:

Also went to Conwy castle and other places too. Other family's idea of a walk was in and out of gift shops though!
