    hi everyone

newlywed glad your feeling better today.

also heard a tip on tv about hayfever said if you put some vaseline around the bottom of your nose it will help as it will be harder for the pollen to enter you nose(something like that). also dont dry your clothes outside and always shower when you come in from outside to wash out the pollen from your hair and skin. hope that helps a bit newlywed and Dr jekyll.

Thanks. Tried that. Tried extra doses of Vitamin C, drinking lots of water, eating local honey every single day (for over a year), we don't dry clothes outside either. Been through most of the theories! Now need drugs!! :rotfl: (prescription ones for hayfever of course).

Congratulations on being sole owner of the house ;)

Apparently one good way of curing hayfever is to eat locally produced honey it sort of gets you used to local pollen. But I hate honey it smells of bees!

You were spot on John its Rachael - hope you keep your spirits up in our mission to get debt free in a stress free way - is there a way???

Anyway glad to help anyone I can.

    Hi Everyone

I am having a bad day today. I've got a bad cold and hay fever and am suffering. I take Telfast and it normally works but not with a cold. On top of this we (OH) had a massive argument last night and are still not speaking today. It all started over something trivial and then got out of hand. I hardly slept because I was really agitated and suffering with my cold so am feeling very weary today. Anyway thats enough of me feeling sorry for myself.

Newleywed:- Don't know if you have tried Telfast. They are very good. Think you can buy them over the counter but not 100% sure.

IADMM:- Hope your car gets sorted out tomorrow.

Amani:- Good news about your house.

Thanks. No haven't heard of those. Used to have a good one on prescription that was recalled due to causing heart murmers! Then was put onto clarityn when it was prescrip only. Now onto NeoClarityn or something work really very very well, but again prescrip only.

Tried benedryl and they made me really ill, much worse so I avoid that drug whichever it is in them ;)

Just need to get my bum in gear and go register with another doctor. No idea how to decide if they are good or not though! OH says just sign up with his. Don't usually like women doctors though :o Although could change later

newlywed....i get really bad prickly heat and buy he low dose 7mg cheap packs of 28 over the chemist counter for about 87p.i know its a low dose but you could try those every day in addition to the other remedies and they are cheaper, at least.
DH has just gone to hospital for appointment.has too much iron in his blood.wouldnt think that was a bad thing and anemics would be jealous, but we look on the net(and after scaring us half to death, cos if you dont have a disease before you look things up, you find one afterwards!!:D )anyway, the conditions cured by blood letting every month or so,as a build up of irons no good for the vital organs.we always wondered why he always had a tan and looked so well:rotfl: (only joking!)
no post again so the creditors still love me...,although the feelings not mutual!!!

another short post from me... ...but why write a note when an essay will do!!
take care everyone and hope all your troubles are little ones.newlywed and scottishmummy should be let off the troubles cos they have had many peoples shares later.

Looking online it seems First Direct have merged my accounts. At least the DMP seems to be going in the right direction.

Wish Mint would respond though. :(

    Hi Everyone

Newlywed: Good news about First Direct

ILGD:- Just to let you know OH and I are on speaking terms again. You are right it does hurt your feet walking on egg shells. :rotfl:

I phoned Barclaycard today and they have agreed reduced payments. :j

I have now heard back from all my creditors and the only one to reject reduced payments was Barclayloan. I still haven't heard from the internal DCA dealing with my Barclayloan but apparently it can take a few weeks.

Feeling tired after last night so will be off to bed early tonight.
