Really and truly though, I think I am missing all the post I used to get - hardly get any letters these days and no phone calls at all :o

Know what you mean. Its like 'Oi I am still here':rotfl: .

Feel left out now the postie does not bring much but i am not complaining. I think i was one of the lucky ones regarding my DMP. All i had was post and none of that was really bad and no phone calls at all. I get all excited now when i get the local menu through for the Kebab shop:rotfl: :rotfl: .

Have to laugh really there we were a few months ago dreading all the nasty post and phone calls and now we dont have any we feel left out. I am a great believer in fate and i hope this post does not kick off a nasty letter or phone call now. God there is 1 magpie outside my window. Thats it I am now doomed to be pestered from now on ;) .

Regarding the free credit report i had this a few months ago and took a note of when it was due to end. When i rang them they were really good and cancelled with no hassle at all.

    All the best

Yeah sure I will let you know when I receive them how much is recorded.

YM - I just know that even if I made 37 notes to cancel the trial - I still wouldn't get round to doing it so much safer for me to pay £2 to each agency and then not worry :D After all, can't get credit anyway so in no real hurry for my credit report :rotfl:

Well done IDA, on both the star and still being smoke free. ;)

I'm still hoping for a fourth star but think it will be when I'm debt free :D

Well i am going to get on now as the jobs are pilling up.

Just stripped the kitchen of the old wallpaper and got that to clean up as well as mop the floor and then cook dinner. Fish fingers, potato croquettes and peas for the DD's and Pizza, new potato's with mint and fresh salad for us. Then hang out the washing machine that OH decided to test new limits of amount that can fit in one wash. Just found a trainer in there so i suspect she was on the floor kicking the offending last items into the drum before slamming the door shut:D

The worst bit i find is how on earth do i peg up a thong. Do i peg from the thin string or the thicker bit:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: . Will have a go and i can assure you that the builders next door will turn up just as i have a pair in my hand:rotfl:

Bye for now . Will catch up with what you have been up to later

    Well done IDA :T :T :T

YM - I do that challenge quite a lot, especially when I'm running out of washing tablets!! V funny about the no post thing! I'd pin up the thong by the waist bit ;)

Now, who asked about the renting business? Thanks for asking, as it's on my mind too. I've been lucky by my current housemate knowing a friend who is looking to rent out her place and it's £85pm each cheaper. Because it's a "friend" thing, I'm hoping she won't credit check. Maybe you could keep your ears open for something similar? Let me know how you get on, I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Well, I'd better get on with my exam marking. Something like 0.01p per question, but every hundredth of a penny counts - ha ha!

    Byeeeeeee for now,

    :T :T :T :j CONGRATULATIONS IDA !! :j :T :T :T

Thanks for all the support I feel much better today. Apparently they were looking for someone with foundation stage experience and as that is the one thing I don't have this was the reason I wasn't considered for the position.
    HO HUM!!

Guess I'll just have to keep trying and hope something turns up.

On the DMP front I received my statement from the CO-OP Bank today. They accepted my DMP in march and immediately stopped all interest and charges. However on my statement received today it showed charges of £75.45 due to be added on 23rd july.

I am very proud of myself I phoned them straight away to query this and the lady I spoke to told me it was a mistake and put a stop on all future charges. I can't believe how much I have changed in 6 months. I had the courage to take the bull by the horns and face the problem rather than just burying my head in the sand and accepting what happened. I know that prior to finding this site I would never have rung and would just of accepted any charges they deemed fit.

Isn't it strange how quickly our mindset can change!

Hope you are all well and having a good day.

    Take Care All xx
