    Hi Loz

    thanks for getting back to me. Just tried to clickon your name and it said you had chosen not to accept private email and therefore couldnt get through. Do I use the calculation you have provided on your message? I calculated interest on claim up to 31 Jan but nothing since then. Also I have further 300 charges since 31 Jan - not sure how to calculate the interest on these. Do you know anything about a "wasted costs order" I have heard them mentioned but have not done anything about costs on my claim. I have to have these in 14 days before hearing which is 4 July so I want to get the bundles out Thursday this week at latest. REALLY appreciate any help JayneG

    The same calculation applies to your new charges too :) it is just the daily calculation on 8% p.a.

    Calculation is 0.021% per day (or 8% per annum)
    ie total claim before interest x number of days from claim x 0.00021

    so thats your new charge x number of days since charge x 0.00021
    Got It & Spent It :dance:
    IKEA CARD = £120 charges = £175 received (146%)
    MARBLES = £450 charges = £370 received (82%)
    I.F. = £494 charges = £494 received (100%)
    CAPITAL ONE = £981 charges = £1,489.03 (152%)
    BARCLAYCARD = £580 charges = £786.12 (136%)
    On Hold :mad:
    A+L = £722 charges (target = 147%)
    BARCLAYS = £1,405 charges (target = 128%)
    BARCLAYS = £175 charges (target = 140%)
    ABBEY = £3,220 charges (target = 148%)
  • Hi
    I have received a letter from Lloyds/TSb offering to pay me £750 ( This has also been put into my bank account as a good will gesture!). I was originally claiming back £4000 worth of charges. Should I accept this offer? or take it further?
    Please help!!

    Have been through the whole process on behalf of my fiance. He's owed 3026 quid inc. interest. Have been offered 1613 which we don't want to accept as we really need the money I'm currently logged onto MoneyClaim filling in the e-forms. I have a nagging doubt in my mind about what we're claiming for.

    He has a Royalties Gold account with the RBoS and my worry is that some of the charges I've listed in our correspondence to date are monthly charges for the 'extras' he gets with his account. The 'extras' set him back 10 pound per month (I think). Looking back through his statements, there are several months where he has only been charged 10 pounds but then there are months where this charge doesn't appear. e.g. Oct 2003 to March 2004, the only charge per month is 10 pounds, he's then been charged 30 in April, 30 in May, 10 in June, 30 in July, August and September and back to 10 in October.

    Surely if this was a charge for 'extras' it would appear in its own right every month?
    What should I do? Carry on regardless or should I revise his claim and remove all individual 10 pound charges just in case?

    Confused and getting nervous!!! Don't want our case thrown out of court if the bank says we're claiming for things we shouldn't be.
  • Hi -
    I currently have had 3 claims in MoneyClaim On-Line - 2 against Barclays, 1 against Lloyds. All have just entered 'Defended' last friday 1st June. I have not received any paperwork through post as yet.

    My question - when should I expect paperwork through the door & when approximately would my court dates be for? 2 weeks or 6 months away!? ( I'm in Newcastle Upon Tyne area).

    Thanks for any information, or any of your experiences.

    Sarah Apples

    PS. I have already received £745 in re-claimed bank charges from Barclays after only 2 letters - why do they not have the same actions for ALL claims? What is their policy?!

    You need to go back through your claim and take off £10 per month, including those months where it was more, as you can't claim the Royalties charges.

    Hi all

    I have filed a small claim against HSBC, they acknowledged my claim and said they would be defending. Ive heard nothing from them and tomorrow is the 28th day. My question is, do i enter request for judgement tomorrow or Saturday or Monday? I obviously want to do it asap so no defence can then be entered and my claim would be complete.

    Does anyone know what i should do?

    Its worth noting that i recieved an offer from HSBC yesterday for a seperate account and seperate claim (which i have accepted). This other claim was all done on the same timescale it would also be on the 28th day tomorrow, but i have accepted their offer. Do i need to let the court know??

    Thankyou in advance
