Hi everyone just looking for some advice. i wrote to the royal bank of scotland asking for 3112.50 in charges back on the 22/05/07. i recieved a letter today saying they are looking into my claim and will get back to me in 6 to 7 weeks. does anyone know wether i should wait to hear from them or send my seconed letter now threatening court action.
    please help????????????????????????

hi. this seems to be what all banks are doing at mo, which makes it so frustrating when you have stated two weeks for full reply, i phoned my bank up to query this and they said they were inundated with claims and they could not tell me if i would have to wait the full eight weeks or whether it could be sooner, very unhelpful. i too am wondering whether to proceed with next letter or just to hold tight, its a difficult one, i keep you posted:mad:
Its been the longest three months..... success is nearly insight:T ....... Money in account

It often depends on the bank you are claiming from as to waiting for a reply, check what other users have found by reading the thread relevant to your bank. You'll find links to them in the Reclaim Help Thread which is in my signature.

Do you have a court date yet? If so then yes but if not I would wait until you are asked for it.

Could someone please tell me if it is possible to reclaim store card charges?
I have just added up my bank charges and they are minimal but in the past I racked up huge bills in store card and credit card charges from ge capital and capital one, are these unlawful? has anyone tried reclaiming?
