    Hi latest news
I rang up LLoyds as I had not heard anything from them at all regarding my hardship claim, I sent my I/E form and details to their solicitors and had a reply from them on the 18 march saying they had forwarded copies to lloyds, and LLoyds would contact me direct. Guess what I havent heard from them so I rang Andover yesterday and spoke to a nice lady who after me giving a full run down on my circumstances told me she couldnt help as she didnt have any of my paperwork., BUT She would however send me another i/e form to fill in. So being totally fed up I decided to ring LLoyds solicitors up today to ask them where they sent all my paper work they gave me a phonenumber to ring so gave it a ring surprise surprise It was the wrong department so rang solicitors who gave me another number once again wrong department but they would put me through to the right department which they did and guess what it was the wrong department, anyway after another phone call I was put through to another lady who said she couldnt help me with my hardship claim but as a goodwill gesture would waiver my charges this month £120 worth and that I should post all my paperwork again to customer complaints who deal with the financial hardship claim. I asked for their phone number but she said she wasnt allowed to give it. So being totally frustrated I rang the FSO to see what advice they could give me and they were totally disgusted that LLoyds have never aknowledged my hardship claim and confirmed that there is a small loophole which allows the financial hardship to be applied, they were going to send lloyds a letter and said i should recieve a reply within the next few days. I dont think ive ever felt so frustrated in my life. Anyway got all the paper work together so send registered post tomorrow. (hope ive got the right department)

sorry this is such a long post

Received letter from Barclays this morning...Budget Planner has been passed to their Consumer Finance Debt Management department. Their assessment of my claim will take up to 5 working days.

"A member of the team may need to contact you to discuss the information provided either by telephone or by writing to you"

Letter was sent from Retail Banking Customer Relations (Leicester). Tel numbers given are 0845 300 5857 or 0113 389 8065

That does seem quite appalling. Make sure you keep copies of all the paperwork you send and might be worth giving them a buzz tomorrow so that you can send it for the attention of someone so that they can speed up a response in view of the fact that they lost your paperwork to begin with.

Still nothing from Lloyds... and it's been going on for a year...But I'm not giving in, a visit to court will high-lite some intersting transactions such as crediting my account £250.000 and then removing the money in a series of withdrawls and without any narative...

    Hi

Just wanted to let you all know to keep on contacting the banks. I wrote to Barclays bank last year (august time) to reclaim £1400 bank charges, got a letter back to say about the test case etc and didnt do anythng more infact forgot about it to be honest and then yesterday I got a cheque for £1100 !!

Cant believe it, the bank agreed I was in financial hardship and as a "gesture of goodwill" paid back £1100.

Hang on in there and give them time to process your claim. It certaining paid off for me.

Good luck to you all out there reclaiming.
    Jen

You got a cheque without requesting it??? Or am I reading this wrong?
