latest news I rang lloyds solicitors up again today to ask them for the address to where they sent all my finacial hardship claim paper work , the lady on the phone told me they had e-mailed it to lloyds so she couldnt give me an address, but she assured me that lloyds would be contacting me within the next 24hrs, i had given my mobile number but no-one has phoned I shall give them until 3 oclock tomorrow and if i havent heard from them i will ring the solicitors again.
Don't ring the solicitors but ring the bank. Tell them that the solicitors emailed the I/E form to Lloyds. See what they say.

They normally should get back to you with an Income and Expenditure form.

Well, I wouldn't hold your breath! I sent my clain off at the beginning of February and received a paltry offer last week so have sent the court letter and still waiting....

They're still charging me and I have had to stop using the account as it's now over the overdraft because of charges - there's no way I'm putting anything into it until I get my money back (of course I don't have anything to put into it anyway but that's besides the point:rotfl:)

    Good luck x

    Dear all

I'm very sorry if i'm asking a question already answered a thousand times but i'm a little confused...

I bank with Lloyds and have paid over £3000 in charges. Is it still worth applying for these or have the banks won?

    Regards in advance

Louise, the OFT test case is still ongoing but if you are suffering financial hardship you may get a payout earlier(lloydstsb are becoming known to be difficult nuts to crack though). So the answer is YES you can claim and definitely NOT have the bank won. ***Slap wrist for that blasphemy**** :)

Thanks a million - i'm struggling financially but i'm not suffering the 'financial hardship' as listed on the site. I'll give it a go though. Thanks again for your help.

On my signature is the FSA Waiver on Bank Charges. Page 11 has the hardship part of it. Look closely at section 2 page 11 and try and see if your circumstances fit into that criteria.

Yes surprisingly I do fit into a couple of those. Thanks very much! Do I fill in Martins template and send that off to Lloyds?

    Thanks ever-so-much for your help
