Hi everyone, just had two interesting experiences, i have tried accessing my online account details with both mbna and capital one .Unfortunatley it is that long since i did this previously that i have forgot log in details. i tried to change them but kept getting error messages so had to ring.In the case of parasite one put straight through to collections department who went through the usual harrasement.i was then informed that i would not be allowed to access my details because i am a payment behind same thing with mbna who told me it was a stipulation of the website that if you where in arrears you could not use the online service.
I then somehow remembered the password and log in and on re trying logged on with no problems. So are they allowed to block your access to your information as i cannot remember details for crap one and they wont give me them

there is no template as such. Write to them asking them to review your claim. Head the letter:
FSA Waiver Directions: Financial Hardship Claim

    See page 11 here:
    http://www.fsa.gov.uk/pages/Doing/Regulated/Notify/Waiver/pdf/disp_monthly.pdf

Mention any of the following that apply to you:

    Financial hardship
    Reduced income/loss of job
Level of priority debt arrears against free income available
Utility arrears such as gas/electricity threat of being cut off
    Mortgage arrears
    Council Tax arrears
    Credit card debts
    Repossession
Serious health issues both physically and mentally
    Threat of possible suicide
No money for food or rent

You should include an Income & Expenditure sheet See here:

hi everyone, am a bit confused about something and cant seem to find any help on my problem

i would like to claim charges under financial hardship with HSBC

however i have 2 accounts with them, one a current account and the other a savings account

the charges were taken from the current account, however i do have a substantial amount of money in the savings account (£10,000 +) - its not my money per se but anyhow its in my savings account

in my current account i have less than £50

    so my questios are;

    1. given the status of my accounts can i claim under financial hardship because of the money in my savings account? i.e. will it be dismissed because of the money in my savings account, which i have used now and again.

    2. if not, can i take the money out of the savings account and then claim under financial hardship?

3.this may sound like a silly question, but can i do a "normal reclaim" as well as a financial hardship reclaim at the same time?

    any help would be appreciated!

Well where do i start... good luck with your claim but can i ask how the hell you think your in financial hardship with 10k in the bank?? i think you might struggle to get anywhere with that..

This is typical of everyone on here no wonder everyone is still getting there money back now with cases like this ? what about all the rest of us watiing years and nothing happening STILL...

Makes my blood boil waiting all this time still with nothing and people claiming like this ? how about the hardship i was in all them months ago when they was taking 150quid a week out my bank from my disability payments with no job ? why is that not taken into account? now i have managed to drag myself out of the mess the bank caused me i have to wait nearly 2 years and still have nothing to show for it?

what a joke this has become...

as i mentioned, the money is not mine, its in my account but its not actually my own money

the money i do have is in my current account, which is less than £50

i think i am in financial hardship, trust me, i was just asking about this one query, thats all.

    1. As far as the bank is concerned you have £10,000+. If that is financial hardship, your definition is worlds away from mine.

    2. You can move the money, but you still won't be in financial hardship. Banks aren't totally stupid

    3. You can, but the claim will be rejected under FH grounds so you're left with waiting for the OFT test case to conclude.
