i am not trying to be patronising but have you been ringing them to chase it up? if you have applied through financial hardship then surely they should have replied by now. i sent my letters to customer services and to the complaints department address that was given on here. i then phoned to make sure they had received and then rang weekly.
i am sorry you havnt heard anything, keep with it, good luck x
Hi, Yes I have rang them weekly they basically say no need to ring as they have the paperwork and can not tell me anymore. Very annoying :mad:No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

I'm new to this & seeking advice. Barclays have responded to my request for details of charges, but haven't itemised them - can I put in a claim on the basis of annual totals for each of the last six years? If not, how should I proceed?0

has anyone heard anything from Nationwide? I haven't heard anything since I started the claims months ago.0

Just been reading through this site as we are so much debt and are struggling with mortgage etc I am going to try and claim back our charges for bank accounts and credit cards, however, the majority of these accounts are now with collection agencies. I understand that we can claim back from the original lender but how do I work out how much of the balance is charges. Can i write to the original lender and will they give us a figure? Everytime we try to speak to the original lenders about anything they jsut say that they cannot talk to us as the debt is now with a third party. How do I start all of this on the road to reclaim?January Grocery Challenge - Budget £300 Spent £1220

Just wondering if I should close my account as I no longer use it, but do not want to miss out on the possibility of getting my bank charges refunded. Any thoughts?
Thanks.0 -
can I reclaim under hardship stating my debts as a reason?0

Hi
I started an application for refund of £2,200 from Nat West on my business account. They made an initial offer of £1,220. I rejected this so they made another offer of £1,555 again i rejected this but sent them a letter stating i would accept £1,800. They have now made a new offer of £1,720.
During all communication with them i made clear that if they did not make an acceptable offer i would persue them through the small claims court.
I am not aware from any forums of any other claim for charges on a buisiness account??
As this is their third offer i am not sure wheter to accept or not?
Anyone else have similar situation?0 -
Hi,
I have been claiming with Lloyds TSB for just under a year now! I have followed the guidelines and in the end escalated it to the Financial Ombudsman.
I received a letter from the FOS dated 18th Nov stating that Lloyds have not issued me there final response and now have a further 14 days to do so.
Still no response from Lloyds so emailed the FOS and now struggling to get a response from them!
Does this mean my claim is won by default as Lloyds have had ample time in which to issue a response?
Also noticed that on the success forum for cliaming unfair charges that Lloyds TSB is pretty much nowhere to be seen! doens't inspire confidence.
