I have gone through the whole process of reclaiming bank charges online and was pleased when money claim online allowed me to file for judgement by default. I have gone online today to see the progression of the judgement and my claim has been REJECTED. It's telling me that I am unable to take any further action online on this claim.
Please can someone advise as tyo why this might have happened and what, if anything, I can do next.
Thanks in anticipation.
Hi Cat, See if the bank has put in a defence, if they have then it will start the actual Court process, Sometimes a defence is filed but would not have gone on to the MCOL site until a later date.0 -

Hi everyone. I am in court v. Barclays on the 16th July. They have allocated one hour. Has anyone actually been to court where the bank has shown up yet, and if so, what happened? I have submitted my claim papers to both the Court and their lawyer, as I was required to do so within 28 days of the notice of the court date being received. However, I am going to add the ridiculous number of charges that have been accrued since submitting my original claim, which amount to many hundreds of pounds extra, 14 days before the court date. They have been really nasty since I went the distance of taking it to court, bouncing direct debits etc.
If they do not show up, how long do they then have to reimburse me? I would imagine the courts are getting very hacked off if they have many other 1 hour sessions booked out, and they are all non-shows.
Thanks in advance.0 -

As I say in an email at the bottom, I have had my court date for weeks. Barclays have made no attempt to make me a better offer. Should I be worried? Perhaps they think they have something on me. I am claiming charges levied for going over overdraft limit and bouncing direct debits, plus interest. It amounts to £4,600 at the moment, shortly to be increased with the later charges. I am getting seriously worried. If I don't get my charges back, there's a good chance I may be in serious financial difficulties because the charges have escalated so much. Each month they are putting me further and further into the mire. If it doesn't get settled in July my credit rating is going to be very dire indeed. They are responsible for doing this! How can they take almost £200 from your account every month. It's wrong:mad:0 -
Can some one help me and let me know if i can claim some money back, from yes car finance, as i bought a car from yes car i had a good job at the time. then got lung cancer. i ended up losing my job and that ment i couldent pay for the car, i have spoke to yes car they said i was two payments off being able to give them the car back for free.
They said if i give the car back asap they would be able to give me space to pay the other two payments, which is £650 but they didnt in the end. So they have had there car back but they still want the two grand that i owe them. (havent they used the car as a penalty as they now have resold the car)? But i still owe them two grand!!!
If not if i pay them the two grand dont they owe me a car ?? as i have payed £4200 for a car, that i now havent got. :rolleyes:0
