Hi just wondering how it's going with the Ainol Novo tablet given that we've decided to buy a tablet? Unfortunately, your guys have again put the price up to £299 so presumably they havent got any. However, it seems Amazon can still supply direct from China but the price then works out at about £170. Does this still represent good value given that we "only" want to use it for browsing, email and watching films (no gaming) or are there are better deals around which anyone can recommend? We're not averse to i-pads and that kind of money but if this sort of cost is avoidable . . . well, I for one would be grateful. Thanks:)

The Novo10 Hero I suggested before was the cheaper MK1 which was dual core because I thought it was quick enough and had bluetooth so an external keyboards could be used.

If you don't need bluetooth (probably not with your uses) the good news is the supplier still has the even faster MK2's with QUAD cores still in stock.

They are the same in other respects, Jelly Bean, 16GB, 128x800 IPS screen, 1GB RAM, 8000mah battery, 9.8mm thick, HDMI video output, dual cameras.

If you buy from China on Amazon you may well be hit with extra £40 customs charge. You can buy from the UK seller without risk for £170!

--- but I would always buy from small suppliers like this via Paypal which they accept, as Paypal protection is straight forward and tends to side with the buyer in my experience ----

Whilst i appreciate LMGTFY, you put the wrong search in as that doesnt offer any reviews or recommendations

    Try this:
