    I wondered that too.

I think you are over the highest hurdles for this weekend tbh. You've explained away why he isn't there this weekend and presumably the above questions.

You can relax a bit more (as much as is possible that is in the day before the big event) and enjoy your sister's day.
Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j

I told them that our car had a problem, which was believable as it's needed a few repairs recently.

And no, he hasn't been in touch. Why am I not surprised...

Yes, I do feel a bit more relaxed, thanks. Only today and tomorrow to get through and then I can breathe a sigh of relief xx

Now that the big day is almost here - you just need to try and put all the hassle of the last few weeks behind you and just relax and enjoy the celebrations.

    Have a lovely time!

Try and put this all behind you now Tay, and enjoy your sister's big day.

After all, the whole point of keeping this a secret was so as not to spoil her day, so it would be a shame if you were feeling so carp that you couldn't enjoy it, as she'd notice anyway, and then all the stories you've told about ex's absence would have been a waste of time ;)

(that sounds a bit muddled, but I know what I mean :D )

Thank you all. I fully intend to enjoy the day. I still have a sore throat but am taking paracetamol and it's improving.

Everyone is in a great mood and the topic of 'OH' seems to have been put to one side. I'm so glad. Here's to a lovely day tomorrow xxx

Thank you so much, that's very kind of you both :)

As an aside, please keep your fingers crossed that my throat gets better and that my new tickly cough goes away. :o After all that I've been through to get to this point, the last thing I want is to be coughing like mad during the ceremony!!!!
