Emails took less than a minute. Open email client, click on compose, cut and paste recipients email address, cut and paste letter body, click send. Easy as that
The contract is actually my Mums so will be prepping her before she calls with the help of your phone call post.
Your mum can call and once she has gone through security she can say that she would like to pass the phone to you as she is giving consent for you to talk on her behalf - the CS rep should not have an issue with that.0 -
T-mobile get it wrong on the other side of the pond too..

They really aren't very good at this contract lark...0 -
We are at nearly 23,500 views and we are still a long way short of hitting a thousand emails to the media (posts #570 and #602).
The Pre Oct 2012 "argument" is nearly complete - so unless the trains let me down tomorrow I should be able to either post it here (looking doubtful I must say) or email to those who have shown support and emails the media late tomorrow evening.0 -
I've updated the EE Wikipedia page to include this, and linked it to this thread as reference.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EE_(telecommunications_company)#ControversyIn April 2013 T-Mobile UK were also embroiled in a mid contract increase controversy when they applied an above RPI increase to many Contract customers but refused to allow termination as allowed by the terms of the contract. A number of their customers complained to CISAS about the conduct of T-Mobile UK, and their handling of the matter. [58]====0 -

RandomCurve has asked me to post and request 100 more publicity emails (posts #570 & #602) - if he gets these by tonight then he'll post up ALL of the information he's put together to help others win their case against T-Mobile. Remember, tomorrow is the last day for TM customers to get their cancellation notice in - so we need the publicity emails sent TODAY, for it to be any help to the other TM customers who aren't yet aware of their cancellation rights!!
RandomCurve has emailed me his rationale and it has EVERYTHING (and there's a lot!) you need to help you win the fight against TM!! All of the statute & regulations are included - there are lots of points which I've missed but I'll still be able to use once TM have responded to my CISAS complaint.
Remember too, RandomCurve is on a post-Oct contract and the stuff that he's put together is mainly to help those with pre-Oct contracts (although it's still useful for the later contracts too). He has put a HUGE amount of time and effort into this and he's done it mainly to help others win their fight against T-Mobile!!!
So come on, please show him some support and take a minute to send those two emails today - posts #570 & #6020 -

Emails sent for both post #570 and #602. Took a minute or so. I have to echo the other posts here by saying we need a big push to get this in the media spotlight, not just for this particular price rise but for all price rises moving forward. These big companies need to think twice before trying to squeeze that extra money out of us customers.
Even if this rise does not affect you, a similar one may in the future. Lets all come together and expose these idiots for what they really are! :beer:0 -

Regarding CISAS complaints, when filling in the "What do you want the company to do?" section, have people gone for "Take some action" and then put "Allow cancellation of the contract without penalty." in the detail box, or have you gone for the "Give you money" option and then put in the full cost of the contract for the remainder of the term (at the new increased rate presumably?) plus damages?
ThanksA big believer in karma, you get what you give :A
If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.0 -

I choose "Take some action" and then put "Allow cancellation of the contract without penalty." and "Give you money" option I can't remember what these were but along the lines of what randomcurve had suggested in a post a few days ago. Sorry I don't have the post number.0 -
I only used the "Take some action" and then put "Allow cancellation of the contract without penalty" option.
It isn't about making money for me, in fact I probably won't be better off after cancelling (if the ruling goes that way) as I get a discount on my line rental.
It is more to do with the way T-Mobile have acted and I don't particularly want to stay with a company that acts as they have.====0
