Are people submitting CISAS applications now? Can you wait until Wednesday?

T-Mobile are playing an old trick which is to focus you on one thing (the rate) so that you miss the killer points! I know this sounds CRAZY, but please trust me - to win this I think HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE RATE USED (at least not directly) -I can't go into it now (other commitments). It will take about 3 hours to organise thoughts and complete the research and put it all down in a logical and understandable way, but if you've sent the Publicity letters I will email the answer on Tuesday, and if we have enough emails sent )post #570) I'll post the answer here.

Sorry I can't be more specific now.

Everyone who has put in a complaint with CISAS - I thought you had to wait 8 weeks before going to them? Or did you manage to get a deadlock letter from T-Mobile?

T-Mobile last refused my request for a deadlock letter four days ago, so unless that changes soon then I have another 4 weeks to wait to go to CISAS before I can do anything further.

And whats all this about putting notice in before 9th May?

You don't have to wait - have a look at posts 402 & 433 - if you're requesting deadlock on the grounds of breach of contract, email them and request deadlock again - you should find you get it no problem now :)

If they do refuse again, could you let us know on the forum, and also forward their refusal to Ofcom OCCtelecoms@ofcom.org.uk

9 May is the date the price change comes into effect, so customers have until then to give their notice to cancel, but you've obviously done that already if you're requesting deadlock.

All – A publicity/Media update.

First of all thank you to all of you who have emailed so far, We have had an equal number of “Request an update/correction” emails (Post#570) and the “EE Takes riskiest Business Decision Ever?” emails (Post #602), but not everyone has sent both emails so there are more “people” than “emails”getting involved – which is great.

Whist the response is a good start and clearly demonstratesa desire to get T-Mobile into the public arena on this matter –or better still SS himself – Silent Swantee  ), we are going to need a LOT MORE emails being sent.

We have now had 22,301 views, and are adding views at over 1,000 per day! Assuming you are reading this forum because you have been affectedby the T-Mobile decision, and you are either:
1. Looking for advice,
2. Looking for Support, or
3. Just checking that you have not lost your sanity and T-Mobile really did use THAT as a reason (take your choice from any three hysterical attempts to twist the story)

then it stands to reason that you also would like to seeT-Mobile account for its actions.

So PLEASE remember sending an email costs NOTHING, and only takes a minute or so each. Both emails refer to my contact details so youshould not get bothered by press for sending it.

The minute or two it takes to send an email is a fraction ofthe time this forum can save you by for example:

1. No need to search for your T&Cs they are on Post #566 AND post #142 has links to the full T&Cs for both contracts.
a. Version59 is Post Oct 12 and
b. Version58 is Pre Oct 2012
2. Save time arguing your case with CS –follow post #449 and #450

3. Use a template cancellation letter Post #451

4. See the response to the various TMobile “rationales” All over the place start on posts dated AFTER19th April

5. See how even if you LOSE the case to CANCEL the contract you can still WIN FINACIALLY Post #577 (applies to all contracts)

6. The reasons why you should be able to win a case against TM on a post Oct 12 Contract #571

7. And please also see post #622

Remember to give TMobile your cancellation request BEFORE 9thMay and PLEASE send those emails.

RandomCurve is right to try and push the publicity on this - think about it - we have no voice when we each try to express it individually - why not try and make a REAL DIFFERENCE for once - spend one minute of your time and send an email - yours might be the one that makes the difference by making the media take notice... if you've bothered to read the thread - why not do something about it, and alert the media to what's really going on here??? There's no work involved, just copy and paste RandomCurve's email and you're done! (see posts 570 & 602).

If you feel you're been made a fool by EE's actions, if these unjustified price increases have peeved you even the littlest bit - THIS IS YOUR OPPORTUNITY to actually do something about it!!! Please at least try, you have nothing to lose other than one minute of your time, and just think of the satisfaction of seeing this story break in the news...

There are new people to the forum every hour who have taken a minute to send the email - why not do it too? It might just make the difference between this story remaining under wraps... or it goes viral and EE are stuffed??? You decide...

Could I just say - RandomCurve told me how many people had actually sent the email, and to be honest, his news made me feel like giving up the fight... PLEASE take one minute of your time to copy and paste the email and send, I really believe if enough people send it, we just might get the publicity we so desperately need - it is a chance for you to make a difference - why not take it :T

Interesting article if you haven't already read it - The price rise will not affect all EE, Orange and T-Mobile customers!

I wouldn't take too much notice of that article. It was written at the start of this and reads more like an EE press release than a piece of journalistic work.

I'd also echo the pleas of Anna2007 and RandomCurve, get those emails in. In fact even if you're on a different network or not affected by the rise. How many times do we hear people saying that all networks are the same, so it won't make any difference.

This is your chance to show all the networks that we won't lie back and take it any more. If we win against EE (which I'm sure we will) then all the networks will think twice in future.

Customer IS king, let's remind them of that.

I'm glad to say we have had a fair few additional emails sent as per posts #570 and #602 since last night. We still need MORE, but I think we will very soon be starting to create a bit of a "wave".

I have also been emailed by a follower of this forum another interesting email that they have received from TMobile, I am waiting for their okay to share it here.

Please send those emails in - you don't have to post to the forum to be able to send those emails

Thanks

I have checked back on this thread now and again so have not read every post.

I am not effected but am interested all the same.

what I wanted to ask is, has anyone at MSE responded in any way either on the thread/forums or directly?

seems very disappointing if not even if only to give an opinion of the situation.

"cutting your costs, FIGHTING your corner!" 'en all.

No, it seems MoneySupermarket haven't authorised any action, MSE and Martin have had PMs, emails and tweets to look in and see how they can help, even a mention in his weekly email would have done a lot.

Unfortunately Tesco were selling cheap chocolate which was more of a priority .
