I'm on a pre Oct 2012 contract and in my 'Answers to questions' on the back page of the price increase letter, received on the 8th April, it says 'We've used the RPI which is currently at 3.3%'. This is clearly not the case...

Fantastic response from everyone. Let's hope that it will be successful in teaching them people are not sheep

Just found this thread and read last couple of pages. I phoned and cancelled my contract last week due to the increase. It was a 2nd phone and already over the 2 years. They've said 30 days notice but anyhow I'm another customer they've lost as of end of May. Good luck everyone.

Just noticed that the CISAS acceptance letter states:

"Please note that any further documents submitted after this date may lead to your application being restarted in order to give the company time to consider them".

So if you do receive any further emails from EE, probably best not to respond until after the deadline for T-Mobile's response in the CISAS letter. You're given 7 days to submit your comments, once TM have responded to the CISAS complaint :)

Agreed, I'm probably going to be the first to see what T-Mobile use as a defence to CISAS, they only have until this Wednesday to respond in my case.

Their website also uses exactly the same wording

Another conflict with their latest statements :D

Are you on the new or old T&C's?

Have a look at the email I got from TM Legal Team (posted yesterday lunchtime) - I think it would be extremely foolish of them to contradict what they've said there - but you never know...

They've done a complete turnaround on the newer contracts, now saying the RPI rate released Feb is the rate. They're sticking with the future RPI rate for the older terms. Muppets.

Old, my last upgrade was August 2012.

You have to use this as one of the main arguements against them. When you received your letter 5/6 April, the rate published Mar was the current rate, not Feb and not Apr.

Everyone who has put in a complaint with CISAS - I thought you had to wait 8 weeks before going to them? Or did you manage to get a deadlock letter from T-Mobile?

T-Mobile last refused my request for a deadlock letter four days ago, so unless that changes soon then I have another 4 weeks to wait to go to CISAS before I can do anything further.

And whats all this about putting notice in before 9th May?

Sent both RandomCurves emails on to everyone on the distribution list. Takes about 2 minutes. Go on, do it, you know it makes sense!
