If anyone else is considering a move to Ovivo, their website states that there is currently a "technical issue" with transferring numbers with a PAC code, so transfers are on hold until the issue is resolved.
Personally, I can live with a number change if I can't get them transferred before TM close my account (which I think has to be done by 18 July), but if it's important to you, it might be worth calling Ovivo CS for more info before signing up.0 -

If you have any doubt, might be worth using your PAC code to transfer temporarily to the new Three 321 PAYG, then transfer over to Ovivo when they have resolved the issue. Just a thought.0 -

Have gone to talk talk - as talk talk phone customer £3.75 (non talk talk £7.50) a month 12 month sim contract 3000 text, 300 mins and 1 gb data and not out of call allowance to call home number. Ordered over the net SIM arrived next day and using the pac code the number was moved the day after. Happy, no problems0 -

Sims ordered, will have to wait and see if they arrive in time, I've left it all a bit last-minuteThe Three tariff looks really good, but their signal is pretty dire in my area.
Do you know if I'd have to top up the sims before they would transfer the numbers?0 -

I would agree, you can "park" the sim on 3 with a £5 top up (and £10 free credit for porting in if I recall correctly).
You can always move the number again in the future, when the problems are resolved.====0 -

Could I do the same with a Tesco sim card (assuming I can pick up a couple of free sims at my local store this evening?)0 -
While it is great for us as individual consumers to win, the reality is EE apparently gained 52 million from the price rises to Orange and T mobile.
They use legal tactics to frustrate and delay. No doubt most complainers give up and the majority of consumers just accept the small price rise. Put it in perspective here, only those willing to fight, will wait 8 weeks for CISAS, write letters, telephone Customer Services, Executive Office etc.
If I was CEO of EE, with a 52 million win and a few thousand loss from CISAS cases and small claims, I would be celebrating my legal team / Executive for a job well done!
The truth is, price rise terms in what customers believe and are sold as fixed price mobile contracts should never have been allowed to be introduced in the last couple of years.
Consumers are still waiting for Ofcom to end this. It is expected consumers will be allowed to leave penalty free if there is a prise rise, but what's taking Ofcom so long to do this ?!
£52 million for a EE refit and 4G install...its a easy game telecoms.
Ofcom drag heals on everything unless the EU says do it.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0 -
Hadn't thought of doing that, thanks

If you need one quickly either pop into the Three store or I have a spare micro SIM I could post out to you. I ordered 2 but they send a 'spare' for a friend with each so I ended up with 4. Just PM me if you need one.0 -
I'm going for a 12 month sim only with three. £15 a month on the one plan, 2000 minutes, unlimited texts, unlimited data (including tethering). Cashback through topcashback.com is £62.62, so all being well with receiving the cashback the sim will be circa £10 a month.0
