I might not be able to sort my clothes out tonight as we're going out for a meal to celebrate and then watching Star Trek afterwards (I'm not a Trekkie and am not that interested in the movie, but I am very interested in Chris Pine
).
I've just found out that if I can answer 3,000 questions this month, then I will get at least £150 extra, maybe more. That would be a nice addition to the flat fund, so I'm determined to get there. Will add that goal to my signature (haven't got that far yet though as I've been so wrapped up in getting the reference checks sorted).
I've forgotten about the Amazon vouchers goal for now, as I think it's far more important to get the money together for the deposit and first months rent. We can get stuff we need when we are actually living there.

Great news Emz on the flat I am really pleased for you!
I would ask for a refund in your reference most letting agents fees are illegal anyway!
So excited for you!0 -
Thanks GRC
Yesterday was such a wasted day. We went to the other side of London to pick up some car part that OH bought on eBay. We got back late afternoon and I had such a bad headache (I don't do travelling that well) that I just went to sleep and didn't wake up again until 8pm. Next time, OH can go on his own.
My main goal for today is to get to 5% on my question target. I also want to get my desk on Gumtree.

Hi everyone
Just a quickie post.
We now have a moving in date of 19th July, so OH has booked the day off work. It's a Friday too, so we will have the weekend to settle in and unpack.
I listed 4 items of furniture on Gumtree last night and I've got people interested in my chest of drawers and side table.
I really need to get hold of some boxes so we can start to pack. Stuff is just accumulating on the floor and the flat is looking a right tip.
I've cleared all my targets off my signature, because I simply don't remember to update them. I'm keeping track elsewhere though.

Great news, Emz.:j It must be a massive weight off your mind now it's actually going to happen. I know July 19th is a long way ahead but with so much to do beforehand it will be here in no time. Just don't wear yourself out trying to do too much at any one time ,such as selling stuff, packing, working, debt-busting, helping Mum with your sister's children, keeping us all up to date with progress, etc.......(although all your subscribers are agog to know how it's all going)0

Thanks CRC and Lou - I promise I won't do too much. I've still got the Wicked Witch of Southampton General to deal with in a couple of weeks (that evil doctor ), so need to make sure I'm healthy for that.
The woman coming to look at the side table didn't show last night. After waiting for an hour and a half, I emailed her and she said she had forgotten (we only arranged it yesterday afternoon!!). She is still interested, but I haven't emailed her back yet. Suppose I better if I want to sell it, just think that she will only do the same thing again.
I've got someone coming to look at the chest of drawers at 11.30. I hope they come on time, as I'm supposed to be going into town with my mum to look for some new shoes. I can't handle the other shoes I have, as they just hurt my feet. I miss my old ones.
Got rid of a load of old clothes this morning to the charity collection coming round today (stuff I don't think will sell in the car boot). Also got rid of a load of cardboard boxes that we were saving in case we sold stuff on eBay (they were all small ones, no good for moving). So the flat looks a bit tidier today. My BIL says he can get some boxes from work, but he's not the most proactive person in the world (I think the word I'm looking for is lazy), so I don't know when they will materialise.

Hi Emz, great news on the move in date!
It will go quick I am sure!0 -
Thanks GRC
.
I sold the chest of drawers, so the flat fund is up to £142. I've also got another lady who wants to buy the side table. She doesn't have transport, but she does have a load of boxes that we can have. So I have agreed to deliver the table for her tonight in exchange for the boxes. Win win!!
I got a pair of shoes too. They are very soft and comfortable and best of all, free (my mum paid and refused to take my money for them). Here they are:
