My OH left a list of "Reasons to be Cheerful" on my mirror for me to wake up to, so thoughtful and unexpected

I would like to share what made me smile yesterday. It was my 40th birthday and as I was working I thought it was going to be a bit of a non event. I have a special trip planned to New York in a couple of weeks to really celebrate it in style.
I got into work to presents, cards and a huge stack of balloons tied to my desk with '40' all over them. I am a teacher and whilst in assembly one of my colleagues got the whole of year 3, so 200+ children to sing happy birthday to me. A totally magic moment.
Spent the evening with friends. A lovely birthday which is still making me smile now
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -
I had a phone call on the landline an hour or so ago from a man who asked my bra size.
At first i thought it was funny but then got to think. Only a handful of people have our landline number.:(
I'm not smiling now.
The correct reply is "far bigger than your balls mate" :rotfl:
Then 1471 it.
HBS x"I believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
"It's easy to know what you're against, quite another to know what you're for."

Did you recognise his voice or was it some unknown weirdo making a pervy call and misdialling? The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. The sunshine! It's put me in a lovely mood being able to wear Spring-ready clothes instead of boots and socks. It's been sooooo long!0

An old man at the bus station. He stood up ready to get on the bus and his trousers fell down  luckily he had a young helper with him who sorted it out but oh man! I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't stop :rotfl:0
