What made you smile today?

A bit of light relief against the daily grind and worries of the world....What made you smile today?

Me, it was this pic:

And hearing my baby nephew on the phone babbling away while playing with his cubes. :p

My wonderful elderly neighbour who as soon as I called for help came up to my house. My car battery was flat as a pancake, I think because the inside light had been left on and I hadn't realised. He came up and jump started my car. It is now working perfectly. :j

    Thank you Stefan :):):):)

I have been off sick with the flu and in bed all day. My DH got me to get up and peek out the window. He had washed and polished my car when he came home from work. :)

I had the day off today and needed to respond to an email and it was easier to reply on my laptop rather than my phone, so I checked my junkmail and realised I got an email the other day saying that I've won a lomography camera in the lomo shop Easter raffle, so will go and pick that up tomorrow or the day after.

My usually grumpy/bitey dog giving me a lovely kiss and cuddle this evening. And I don't think he was after anything either!

I have had a lovely day.

My eldest was out round a friends house so I got some lovely one to one time with my seven year old. He was busy in the lounge playing with his toys. He had all his trucks, cars, vans, police car, helicopter, fire engine and even a lifeboat thrown in for good measure.

He recreated a pile up on the M25 and then came to the rescue and saved everyone. He got a camera for christmas which lets him make movies. So half way in to this game he pretended to be a news man reporting for BBC news at 1. I was asked to play the nurse, fixing all the casualties as they arrived at our make shift hospital aka the dining room table :D

I dont know who enjoyed this more me or him.

This afternoon I got a phone call from my best friends husband to say their new baby daughter had arrived safely. Best of all they asked me if I would be godmother, which I jumped at the chance of being. I am over the moon for them and am going to go and visit tomorrow. So another lovely day beckons. I cant wait for a cuddle.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

A phone call telling me I'd passed the home check, then another one to say they might have a suitable dog for me. I'm now smiley and excited.
