On my walk today a lady jogger passed me going in the opposite direction and she was a bit older than me...A few miles later i was on a lane and she had done a circuit and passed me again..
The look of triumph on her face as she passed made me smile my head off..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
Bf telling me he knew he'd fall in love with me from the first time we ever spoke

I didn't know he thought that.

Today quite a few things: meeting my old work friends for lunch, finding out my head gaskets gone in my car. .. and then finding out its covered under warranty... which ends in May. . How lucky:T , having a huge pregnancy mood swing and my partner laughing and telling me he loves my new bad behaviour:)0

:rotfl:I had a 'you've been framed' moment which made me giggle all morning. Took my dog for a long walk along a river. Got to a beachy part and went to kick his ball so he would retrieve it and get a good wash. Missed the ball, but followed through and landed in the middle of the river fully clothed:rotfl:
A nice chap managed to keep a straight face whilst helping to haul me out ( despite ruining my mobile, it made me laugh alot today:D thankfully the key fob to my car still worked - I spent an hour wrapped up in the dog blanket on the way home.0 -
Nipped upstairs for a minute and came back down to find a voicemail from my 2 year old niece telling me she was eating the Easter egg I bought for her
called back to speak to her, but the voicemail is more special as I can keep it and play it again whenever I need cheering up! 0 -

My daughter being good as gold whilst being pushed past all the sweeties in m&s in her pushchair, yet having the mother of all meltdowns when I refused her a bag of brazil nuts...0

My DS1 proved that good manners aren't dead! He is 7 and as we were approaching the steps to the side entrance of our local M&S there was an elderly lady struggling up the steps with her shopping trolley (the shopping bag on wheels type), then struggling to open the door. My son darted ahead and dodged in front of her. As I prepared to make my apologies he pushed open the door and held it open for her.
She walked through and thanked him and even a couple of people nearby smiled as he looked at me and said "I thought I would open the door for that lady as she was struggling with her bag". :A
Definitely a proud mummy moment
