Seeing my 18 month old Grandson's face light up when I picked him up from my sons house today. Smile, he nearly had me in tears. Love that little man :T
First time I met my baby nephew last Christmas, he was 11 months old. My sis in law brought him down and sat on the couch next to me with him in the morning. He was very shy. I cried a little then, from the emotion of seeing him for the first time! lol
A few days later, I came back into the house from an errand, he turned around as he saw me and hobbled up to me and threw his arms up for me to pick him up with a big smile on his face. Best day of my life! *awww!!!*0 -

My son, who is 7, telling my Dad very seriously that he (Dad) shouldn't eat too many Easter Eggs because "chocolate is fine, but in moderation".
The cat stretched out to impossible lengths in front of the wood burning stove, nearly roasting himself alive, but enjoying it massively.
Coming in from a long walk with my son and my parents' dogs, to find a lovely warm living room and a newly-made pot of tea (thanks Ma!)...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

This dog?
 I smiled too!
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

When my little grandson did a wee in his potty then very carefully carried the potty over to me to show me.
And the huge smile on his face when we all clapped and cheered!0 -
I dont know whether to smile or feel a tad concerned.
Just staring out the study window and noticed my neighbour stood on his drive, hosing his lawn and flower beds. It is literally h!ssing down outside. Yet there he is watering his garden.
To all the gardeners out there is this odd, or do you need to use a hose to water you garden every now and then, even when there has been non stop wet weather for weeks?
Seriously I am wondering whether to go over and ask if he is okay. How to start that converation though.....:rotfl:
Think I will just sit here for a bit and see if any men in little white coats pull up in a van and cart him off. The goings on I must miss in my road whilst working. The Easter hols are shedding a whole new light on my neighbours
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -
My 2yr old grandson answers any questions with a yes or no,always in that order.
We have great fun asking him ridiculous questions when we have visitors and we all roll about laughing at his answers.
He is a absolute delight and I can't wait for more grandkids.0 -
