My just turned 6 year old beating me at UNO and explaining her game plan! She is brilliant at "Sorry" too, and knows to block, worked out by herself!

Whilst watching the regional news there was an article about a dog who is allergic to grass and has had some special boots made so he can go out. It was really sweet/funny.

Lots of things made me smile today like happens most days. Have to say though not much can beat warm sunlight streaming through the blinds to make the day start well. Everything seems great from that point onwards. :)

Message from DS- he has got a fantastic new job, twice his present salary.

Well deserved, he works hard and did his Master's degree while working full time.

I've had a bleeding awful day at work (moaning old bats), two hours at the gym, got home, had tea then realised I'd run out of my treat chocolate. Not happy. Then big fat James, my cat, came to sit by me and purrs his head off with his head on my knee. Big smiles.

:T That is fantastic, what an achievement. I bet you are really proud of him :D
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.

My dog. She knows her walks, and knows she gets a treat at the point that we turn back for home, and she came galloping over, slid to a stop and sat, with a cheeky grin on her face :)
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

Seeing my 18 month old Grandson's face light up when I picked him up from my sons house today. Smile, he nearly had me in tears. Love that little man :T
