If it wasn't in the original post then it's valid to correct it by adding to the thread - there are very many people who would not enter if they realised what it was.
Same as with any comp without a clear indication of what the prize is.
My reply to this is the same as post 11This Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -
Anyone else think this is getting borderline ridiculous?
People are now going to hesitate when providing extra info that could be helpful to other compers for fear of being told off. Stating something is real fur (regardless of your views on it) is helpful information.Debt free 6th December 2014

Something else I just thought of; it can depend on how much info the op puts in the comp post as to the validity of the bump. I mean if like the lovely Weeowens they have included all you need from the T&C plus maybe a helpful watch the tick box then usually a bump is not needed. But then the equally lovely Laks may have only put in the minimum you need to enter like the link and the answer in which case sometimes a little extra info can be helpful for example no flights with a holiday comp.
I think the no bumping rule is needed or the board would get swamped with oo I'd love to win that and thanks etc but there are occasions when a bump is a good thing and that is where people will have fallings out over a good and bad bump.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.
Virtuous action, now, at this very moment.

It wasn't just stating a personal dislike, Purple_X was also pointing out that it was real fur and they have also said that was the case in this thread also.
Purple_x dislike to fur is not needed on the main comp board, she can make a thread in the comp sectionThis Post Has Been Sponsored ByChocolate0 -

So true!
Posts need a clear and concise indication of what is on offer.
If not, it is fair to add the missing and important information.0 -

Very sorry for the offence x
Nothing to apologise for, you are not responsible for the bumping that followed the post or the fact that the prize bothered some people.
Original post said it was fur there was no reason for it to be pointed out again any more than pointing out that a prize for sausages contained meat.0
