need a quick fathers day design for hubby's card - it's strange I'm in a stitchy mood but not got a burning passion to stitch anything in perticular.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Did Louise not use some spray she got in T*sco to help remove lines? Can't mind name at moment - sorry.

    sweetcarer ;)

I did - it was a spray tin labelled 'stain remover' not much thought went into brand naming but it worked :rotfl:It was next to the vanish-type products. (Vanish soap didn't work for me)

My lines were pen though, not magic aida but it would be worth a try. I binned the pen but I think it was the fact that used warm water and it set the ink which was the problem because it's never happened before or since.

Soulie - what fantastic news, so pleased for you.

FOS - quick question if I may - what is the design in Cross Stitch Gold that looks to be a map? Is it something to do with Rome?

There isn't a map design. There is a design of houses etc on the Amalfi coastline which can be seen on the magazine website. I don't think it is what you are looking for

really - hubby must take alot o photos as he says his external hard drive (1tb) is nearly full

All I know is that where I was on a limit of 100 photos being displayed I now have access to over 300 and have barely touched my free space so I don't think I will be running out of space anytime soon :D

Ooops I forgot to do my review of this month's WOXS so here we go.

Free Gift - Love this, might try stitching it soon to get my mojo back.

Tatty Teddy - Cute but I don't like stitching Tatty for obvious reasons.

Butterflies - Not for me, but I love the fabric is is stitched on!

ABC - Not a theme I would use.

Subs Pattern - Not for me.

Fairy Godmother - Nice but I wouldn't stitch it.

Wedding Motifs - Okay I suppose but not many I know these days gets married lol

    Bicycle - Not for me.

Wine Tags - Not for me, again lol esp as at the moment I can't drink!

Flower Fairies - I collect these so this is one to add to my to do list!

Cupcake - Not one I could really stitch unless I changed the text on it, though I can't see many men liking this one as cupcakes are usually aimed at women.

Mice Cards - These little mice are very cute, something I would stitch but I'm not too sure about the sandwich one.

Furry Tales - Still hate these.

Craft Room - Nice and bright, something I might stitch for my Aunt.

All in all an under-par issue this time around but next issue looks a bit better, not by much though lol

    ok but nothing more

Tatty Teddy - Cute but I don't like stitching Tatty for obvious reasons.
agree although there is less T T on this design so not as much of the multi shades of grey which put me off as well as the BABS

Butterflies - Not for me, but I love the fabric is is stitched on!
like this design but not sure what I would stitch it for. Love the fabric

p25 best buys. Love the Heritage Victoria design

ABC - Not a theme I would use.ok for the right person I suppose

Subs Pattern - Not for me.
quite like this but again it didn't inspire me

Fairy Godmother - Nice but I wouldn't stitch it.
nor me. There are lots of other JE designs I prefer including the current historical ladies range in Cross Stitch Collection. Her designs are usually on Polstitches fabric and think this would look better if not on plain white with a white frame

Wedding Motifs - Okay I suppose but not many I know these days gets married lol
    not keen

    Bicycle - Not for me.
like this but I've got something similar in my stash. Think it is a Lanarte design

Wine Tags - Not for me, again lol esp as at the moment I can't drink!
    not interested

Flower Fairies - I collect these so this is one to add to my to do list!
pretty and I like the FF designs. Like the way it is finished as a cushion

Cupcake - Not one I could really stitch unless I changed the text on it, though I can't see many men liking this one as cupcakes are usually aimed at women.
awful. This must be the worst yet IMHO

Mice Cards - These little mice are very cute, something I would stitch but I'm not too sure about the sandwich one.
    not for me

Furry Tales - Still hate these.
    quite cute

Craft Room - Nice and bright, something I might stitch for my Aunt.
quite like the design but not the colours used. Some of the individual elements would make nice pincushions or needle cases especially the sewing machine and the sewing bag

All in all an under-par issue this time around but next issue looks a bit better, not by much though lol
nothing leapt out of next month either. Glad I don't pay full price :D
