  • Bobbi's Mummy Another one with great CS finds at great prices. The last XS mags I saw in a CS were priced at £2.50 each (though they did have the free gifts with them
If you find spare time please let me know

chicky love the poppy cat and it would make a really nice pincushion

I rarely use 18 count but when I do it has usually been with a single thread. For some reason I find that single thread knots more easily than 2 strands

I've tried clearing my cache etc and it still doesn't help with the problems on this thread and like others I can post as normal on other threads in the forum

jcs Great to hear your stitchy bug is back. The finished J is very cute and I love the lady with the bouquet. The colours in your stitching look lighter than the picture - is that just the photo?

pap Have you decided about the writing on the heart? It looks fabulous

Maria It's almost as though there are only so many stitchy bugs around because just as some return others disappear. But you have achieved a huge amount so far this year and I'm sure you will be inspired again soon. What designs have you kitted for consideration?

ailsb I remember the China kit and I've noticed quite a few others when looking around EB. Looking forward to seeing some progress pics.

How frustrating not to receive a reply from DMC. I think the suggestion about calling them is a good one and you might want to mention that the members of this forum on MSE are waiting to hear the outcome.

nmm BD looks stunning - I can see that there are lots of colours in it

the dragon Great news about the knitting
  • Evening All, I read every day but don't always post.

I have 3 large projects on the go at the moment and fancied something small that I could 'complete', problem was I got carried away and have completed these.......

I also managed to get all of this for £1 from a seller on eBay today, she lived local to me so I could avoid postage but I think she had that too high and people were put off. I am sooooooo pleased with it all and can't wait to start using some of it. There are about 86 skeins and half of them are DMC :D

Loving all the updates, just need to find my large project mojo!

Think I need a new digital camera, I get horizontal lines across pictures taken, it is several years old though.

So, apologies for the quality of the pictures. Picked 3 up from the framers today:

They are absolutely beautiful, favourite would have to be the farm scene but only because it reminds me of lovely wide open spaces and calm and quiet :D
