  • Hi all, sorry I have been awol :( Mad weeks at work and have been on holiday this week... So sorry if some of these replys are way out of date :o

FOS, lovely finds from the attic, really love the hydrangeas the boarder is fab. That owl is amazing, best not let my Mum see that :rotfl:

Tricksie, that London sampler is great love the train in the bottom left.

Chicky, the polka dot bow is very simple but really realistic :T The superman logo was a quick stitch. Ohh thats the first time I have seen the dinosaurs (09/06) and I love them! Is it a kit/chart? Ohh that magazine looks tempting, I adore samplers but have never made on myself, do you know its release date in the shops? Or is it an online only?

Nmm, adore that blue tit... I need to find out if the design is avalible - bigger! Congratulations to the mother on her new arrival, she looks cute. BD is comply along nicely... Don;t begrudge you all that greyscale :rotfl:

Louise, lovely wedding sampler... Fingers crossed for the couple :o :rotfl: Joan Elliot design is moving on fast, what aida is it being stitched on?

JCS, stunning rose design, can't wait to see that one being stitched.

Caroline, good luck completing that birth sampler. I am sure your cousin's friend will love it.

Squishy, welcome back, I really like that family design, so simple yet really nice :) Sorry it has gone wrong and you need to restart it. Great progress with your home sweet home design though.

LindseyandMatthew, great AOY finished piece, it looks great I love the sandcastles around the border. Love the finished fathers day card!

Erics Mum, Lovely card I adore the colours and I think teh mounts look just fine.

Mags_cat, great progress on your huge design :D

winniepooh, great finished cushion :j Great stain glass window design, can't wait to see update :D

Sweetcarer, congratulations on finishing your rainbow of hearts :A

I need to take a pic of the heart design and my JE christmas angel. Boith have been worked on since my last update but I just haven't had time to take the pictures. Will do this aftrenoon!

While on holiday I did get some great charity shop finds... I purchased this for £2.50 which contains one band sampler I want to stitch and I would like to have a go at using designs in this book to make my own, the instructions are included. I also purchased a magazine for 20p, its called needlework and was published December 1994 :rotfl: I purchased it for a blackwork design and a christmas card design however Flat Eric it has a teddy bear design in it, not a modern design though. I will take a pucture and upload it ;)

Have a great Monday all

no, i can't use the reply box unless i go into the smaller view, it won't even let me type in smaller mode if i try to quote you nmm.

not got it out yet but hoping it was a bargain (tho their communication is getting 1 starred - i ended up VERY angry at them).

It was £95 altogether (including them delivering it todfay) which i didn't think was too bad.

The cat is very cute Chicky :) Lovely stitched piece.

Thanks to those that have posted reviews for WOXS. Despite my initial excitement, I'm a bit disappointed with this month's issue and next month's doesn't look much better. I did like the free cat chart though !

Stitching bug well and truly back. 3 pieces washed/ironed and ready to go to framers tomorrow.

Small piece finished (only taken 20+ years to do a decent french knot :rotfl:)
