Had my 9th of 9 chemo today my nurse said I was looking well so I told him my good news, said that was probably why I was looking so well lol
Doing another round of chemo, 9 of again I presume, and after the 6th I will have another MRI scan.
Not done any stitching for ages, lost my mojo, but I'm sure it will come back again soon!

Hello everyone
As part of my current manic activity I have been sorting out the spare room which had become a storage room. In doing so I uncovered some stitching pieces which I have now hung on the walls. Thought you might like to see them but feel free to ignore as there are quite a few
I stitched this years ago - it was a design from a magazine and hydrangeas are still one of my favourite flowers.

This is Summer - one of a set of 4 seasonal samplers I stitched years ago

And here is Autumn

I have yet to find Spring and Winter but I know there are in there somewhere :rotfl:
This is a small Lanarte design

Hoping everyone has a lovely Bank Holiday weekend - I am hoping to get some stitching done on the Monday0 -
I also sorted out some pieces of stitching for framing and collected them recently
Winter Queen by Mirabilia. If I was stitching it now I would use hand dyed fabric rather than the basic antique white I used here

Firefly Fairies by Lavender & Lace. The original has a bleached effect on the linen but I wasn't brave enough to try this technique

Owl by Pollyanna Pickering - this was a DMC kit

Other recent activity: I've stitched the May section on my Stitcher's 12 Days of Christmas, have made some progress on one of my stockings and my 12 Days of Christmas stitchery, have started the wedding ring pillow (needed for August) and an AOY name for a cushion for a niece (needed September). But I haven't photographed any of these yet.
Still haven't opened WOCS but am planning to enjoy going through it tonight0 -

Good to hear your news - I'm sure your stitching mojo is only missing not gone forever0 -

Me again - sorry.
I really need some advice. I hand washed m turtle and the lines didn't come out. I stitched it on DMC magic aida. I checked online and it said to machine wash at 40degrees, so I put in it a pilowcase with another large piece of aida that needed its fold line removing and washed it. End result is lines have faded but I can still see them and I now have 2 pieces of fabric full of creases that won't iron out.
1. Any ideas how I can get rid of the gridlines? Should I risk washing again?
2. How can I remove the creases from the fabric?
Word of warning, unless your design is going to cover all of your materialbyhink carefully about usinv Magic aida.
Off to Cubs now to carry on sulking. One things for certain I'm not going to stitch it again I hated the last few weeks of stitching it.
Oh no:eek:
I haven't used magic aida/evenweave although I do have some in my stash as it seems like a great idea but not if the lines don't come out as they are supposed to.
Nor have I washed a piece of stitching in the washing machine - I usually wash pieces by hand, wrap them in a towel to remove the bulk of the water and then iron them dry so you could try wetting the blank aida again and ironing it dry ? Good luck - the thought of all your hard work being wasted is too much to bear0 -
I know I'm not the only one on here to use Flickr for my stitching photos and this may be old news but when I logged on today all of the photos I have uploaded were there instead of the previous limit of 100 because they have increased the free space limit to a terabyte :j

Did Louise not use some spray she got in T*sco to help remove lines? Can't mind name at moment - sorry.
