I looked and now it's on my 'I want list' too lol Think I might just have £6 to spare too. It would make a great stitch-a-long for next year
Speaking of which did everyone finish their SAL, of the cut-thrus, from was it last year or the year before?
Oh it was ages ago wasn't it - maybe 2011? I think Chicky is the only one who finished. I know personally I did 2/4 pages on my Lighthouse. I'd do a photo, but it's in my drawer at work :$0 -
i only finished my Princess Palace for Christmas 2012 - think we started in 2011 tho
8 page complaint letter to Park resorts compiled and printed (this does have pictures and screen prints in it tho).
The cheap blind for our bedroom window is now completly broken thanks to 2 small boys but you just CANNOT buy them anywhere in the right length (at least 170cm drop, 120cm wide) darn't order another off the internet (this one was farrr flimsier then it looked) but really need to get one this afternoon. the only one I can find is £40 OUCH!!!!!!!!!!
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
TMIF - what an awful time for you. Sending you lots of hugs.
nmm - love the AOY update. Great progress.
chicky - Humphrey looks really cute. Will catch up with your hols later.
chicky and FE - kinda agree with your comments on Cross Stitch Crazy. Think this might be the last one of my current subscription - wont be renewing.
Erics Mum - love your (and Mums) pics.
Finished page 5 of Sleeping Beauty and taken pics so will try and post the update next.
Wet and windy here today - think I will have to reward myself with some stitchy time. Hope this bloomin weather picks up this week as we are going off to York for a few days. Can tolerate cold more the wet.

I'm not even going to bother reviewing this..........mah mah blurgh eught and double mah.
about the only thing that caught my eye were the fruity ones "hap-pea" etc.
Think this is going straight on the sale pile.
I've seen worse issues and I like the tatty teddy and the alphabet but did you notice the stitched up version of the Andy Murray stitch a star?:eek: makes him look really weird. I would be devastated to spend time stitching and have it turn out looking lie that It is on p 150 -

Stunning. Hope you enjoyed F E's muffin0 -
oh, blue_eyed_girl, that is absolutely beautiful, and such lovely neat even stitches. It will look stunning when finished and framed.

Hello Girls,
Just thought I update you with my latest Sandy Hook heart - blue.
I know it needs a wash and an iron. Now to look out some greens for the green one.
Why do I stitch what I stitch - mostly it is things I would like on my own walls (if I am doing things for me) - though I do alot of work for others and somethings I have done in the past are not to my taste.
Want to say thank you once again for all your support re: the job. Application sent - met the team - so waiting to see if I get an interview.
Kind wishes to all

Hi everyone.
Im looking for a bit of advice. Im looking for some kind of light to do my needle work. It needs to be portable really. Im really struggling in an evening with my sight. I don't really want to spend much as we arent really flush at the moment so I will need to justify it to hubby.I'm trying so hard to be thrifty, but it doesn't come naturally. You lot are an inspiration!JUST LOVES THE O/S BOARD0 -
Winnie I have heard daylight lamps are good the light is supposed to more natural, and you can just buy the bulbs, so maybe a bulb and just a normal lamp might work out cheaper?13 in 2013 challenge 9/130
