little duck is lovely mrs_t_m. is she done in pearly type thread??

I just used the Anchor Marlitt that was 49p per 10m skein at the craft store. Most of it is smoother than the more expensive stuff, and it has a sheen.

Flat Eric - I noticed you were a poster on the Slimming World thread and wanted to ask a question (sorry for going off topic here). My mum and I jointed SW about a month ago but after 2 weeks of classes decided it wasnt really for us. We havent been for the last 2 weeks but the leader has just called and told my mum that she'll put as down as 'holiday weeks' for the next couple of weeks otherwise we'd have to pay - surely you dont have to pay when you dont go to the classes? Thanks in advance

I think membership fees are due each week so if you miss a week then unless you have let your consultant know why (sick, holiday, work) then you get charged back fees. If you have decided not to go back, I wouldn't worry, once you have missed a couple of weeks the computer offers the option to pay the accumulated back fees or to re-join as a new member as thats cheaper.

Thanks for the advice! I'll just have to ring the leader and say we arent going back (still think its pretty ridiculous to make you pay for the weeks you dont go)

    Hi Girls

Hope you are all well and busy stitching happily away.

Just thought I let you know I got an INTERVIEW and test. All goes ahead next Thursday. My boss who helped me with the application said it was all down to him helping me.

Well off to work away on some more stitching for Sandy Hook.

    Kind wishes to all
