    Evening all,

Not done any sewing in over a month  Had a great time at Cheltenham Festival in March but then came back with a cold/bug thing that a month later still hasn't gone

Saw the post a few pages ago about the fabulous dressmaker's daughter, I saw this a few months ago and keep going back to it. Managed to find the complete kit for £107 but still debating as it's a lot of money......

    Take care all,

    x
  • Oooo the best i found was £140 on Polstitches... where did u see it for £107?

From here, you can also buy it without the DMC threads for £89-50

I've given in to temptation and just ordered :T:eek::D
  • As tempted as I am, I have to finish off a couple of other things and pay off a credit card before I can justify it. I will pop it in my favourites though :D Thanks JCS x

:eek:It's taken me a year to eventally treat myself to a £15 computer game. I can't imagine spending £100 on a kit. I think hubby may kill me too. :(
Enjoy stitching it tho, not my cup of tea but I can see the appeal of it.

did I say Humphry has a new home to go to. My firends little boys bedroom wall :j must remember to post it now.

I should be stitching but don't have the energy to go upstairs and get it.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

I have a second job where I pay myself once a year, and I paid the cheque in this week, think that's why my willpower was virtually non-existant ;)

That's my annual splurge, will move the rest of money to my ISA tomorrow to prevent any more spending.....

Morning to all. Sunny morning here in Derbyshire.

Tried to do some stitching on a lilies WIP last night but my eyes felt so sore (probably due to no sleep on Saturday night thanks to 2 small kiddies being very unsettled!!) so didn't manage much.

Picked up Cross Stitcher yesterday - some nice ideas in the free booklet to consider for craft fairs etc. So many projects on the go - please give me a push to finish some before i start any more!!! SOme are big ones so get put aside for smaller things like keyrings as they don't take long. Downloaded some from Celtic Rose Needlecraft (tulips and daffs) and itching to start them as I think they would be quick but knowing me, I will still have them on the go next Spring!! Can't seem to focus on just one project though. Does anyone else have this??

    HAve a great day everyone

That's nice enough to be framed and hung in the new home afterwards, especially if you stitch the moving-in date on it too.
