I stopped watching BBC news at 21:33Z on 1982-05-03, BBC at 18:05Z 2012-09-15
Now have no TV, so the TV Tax can go their own way.
Wonder how long before the thugs from the BBC pop round

Pretty sure that the BBC don't commission the TV license. As long as you don't watch TV as it's broadcast, you have nothing to worry about. Also you may receive letters and visits from TV license, just ignore them (they have no right to be in your house).0 -
It doesn't matter if you stop watching the BBC - you would have to stop watching ALL licenced terrestrial TV channels to support your contentiontat you do not need one.
You then make a declaration to TVL that you do not need a licence because you do not have the capability to view.0 -

what does the Z signify, is a specific time zone?0 -
I have the capability to view TV as it is broadcast through my broadband internet connection....via the BBC website...via this link http://www.bbc.co.uk/tv/bbcone/live. A licence is not required for that capability. However, if I were to click "Watch Now" that would require a licence. It doesn't matter if you stop watching the BBC - you would have to stop watching ALL licenced terrestrial TV channels to support your contentiontat you do not need one.

Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Zulu time - as used in aviation to ensure everyone is using the same zone worldwide0 -
Hopefully, it won't be too long before the loophole of not needing a TV licence to view 'non-live' broadcasts is stopped. Maybe they'll even back date it, which would please me even more.
But until the law is changed, you can carry on being a parasite on everyone who does pay their TV licence. Hope it makes you feel good."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
The government is really missing a trick by not having the internet designated a "broadcast medium" and any PC with a modem or network interface designated as a "broadcast receiving device" and therefore requiring a Broadcast Receiving (AKA "Television") Licence. If you fold it in half, will an Audi A4 fit in a Citroen C5?
