Can't believe it managed 3 sfd's bit of a record for me, had a look at my last 3 months bank statements as recommended by Kat, oh boy have I been spending on nothing. All the normal household bills are the lowest I can get them, food and petrol weren't too bad till this month when I went away that cost quite a bit.
It was the other stuff, I decided to join a dating website as I was coming up to 40 and thought maybe I should try and make an effort, bad mistake, I have managed to spend £500 and still not ended up with a man, did have a few dates but bit of waste of spaceactual website cost was only £40 the rest went on new clothes and babysitter (£5/hr may have to advertise myself as babysitter to earn some extra money)
So lesson learned dating on hold till debts cleared as just can't afford it.0 -
*** I WANT A VITAMIX ****
Okay my theory... I will be hanging onto said money until the end of the year. Should I not be debt free and need funds the tin I have shoved it all into will be opened like a can of beans and sent to the bank... it's all birthday money so I can justify hanging onto it for now.. although paying off my bike loan is looking more attractive...not sure Granny would appreciate her tenner going on that though...:rotfl:
However point taken.....just checking you were all awake...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Brother will be here in under 30 minutes - very excited! SO MUCH FOOD in the house... I shall be signing out for the night and will be back tomorrow evening. We have a busy day ahead tomorrow..
Be good now then eh....!!

Okay I shall say I am shocked that this money went on dating but I shall say I understand why you did it. I took off dating for a year (ended the day after my birthday this year in case you are wondering)..and I mean proper dating - not "meet a male friend for coffee".. a proper relationship... and good grief I need to join the gym first never mind a dating website..
However.. you need to keep eyes open in the supermarket..:p...on the train / route to work...:p....thank you though for sharing this though.. I see there are things slipping through the net that I have no control over but is important to share...
I am proud of you chickadee. You seen a problem, you are rectifying it.. Well done.... on another note.. the man that falls for you won't care if you are in a bin bag or designer clobber... he'll just want you....

Naughty step free? I have come down with a really heavy cold and so I went to the supermarket and spent on lemsip, orange juice, chocolate treats, a curry, pudding and throat sweets....I would hang my head in shame if I didn't ache all over.
I do feel bad and had to report in but just feel soooo poorly and couldn't face cooking and had no remedies in the house. I have a puffyand sore red nose though from cheap tissues so already feeling punished. If iI feel this rough tomorrow will probably take day off and go buy nice soft basalm ones then curl up and try not to panic about work missed with supervision looming!
Sleep now and see how feel, hope the naughty step is comfortable.Happiness is wanting what you have...0 -
Posted earlier, then lost it. Need to get onto laptop rather than do on iPhone so I can add all these cool emoticons!
Not sure if today was good or not. Spent, but out of my own money not included in these budgets as we have a small amount each that I have accrued. For just under £55 I got 4 dresses (2 monsoon, 1 red herring and 1 debenhams), jeans, 2 tops, baby dungarees, wig and tattoos for fancy dress, cath kidston canvas bag, belt and book for dd. I reckon the dresses alone are worth £160. Feeling charity shop smug..
Still clinging onto being under food budget, plan going well - will need to watch the weekend. We're going to a free wildlife festival so need to take some food with us. Any ideas to make it more interesting? - as we have pack lunch all week so would like to mix it up a bit.If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money cannot buy.0 -
Keep vowing not to use the word cool as makes me feel old and mumsy! Failed again above! Shame on me. ;-}If you want to feel rich, just count the things you have that money cannot buy.0
