Had a spend day today but should have a SFD tomorrow. I'm not over budget in any area which is good :D

  • SFD today! Although fell off the wagon yesterday. Still within budget and at least I haven't done my usual trick of spending money on a load of nonsense purchases. This board has been so good for me and has really made me rethink my spending habits.

    Well good evening all..

I have a glass of something bubbly pilfered from the "party" box, a moggy very interested in my laptop tonight and a headache. But what better way of spending the evening than with 3 batches of cupcakes to make... then ice...and decorate...**groan**

As much as I am looking forward to tomorrow's little gathering I am shattered and ready to get back to the quiet life. Is it cause I have hit 30 that I really just love doing nothing...? Or is it cause I am technically a real cat and just want to sleep a lot...:rotfl:

A friend asked me what I wanted for my birthday - "may I please have a Superking size beige fluffy throw for my bed".. Might as well prioritise as I will either be in it or at work... gotta make life comfortable..

Right,. Dalmation in tow (she's not very helpful) I shall be off to get out the party bits, bunting and balloons and knuckle down.....

    Good Night all...

    Onwards and Upwards..

Hi Kat - glad you've got something fizzy to get you through your mammoth baking session! It'll be worth it tomorrow - hope you all have a great time :-)

Checking in with SFD no. 6. Brought food back from caravan and boys hardly made a dent in the food we'd left here for them so very little food spends for next week.

Had a lovely catch up with friends at mine this afternoon = no spends for any of us and I passed on some things to them so declutttered a wee bit. Will update totals tomorrow.

Hey all, I had a nsd today and a bit of a declutter followed by washing holiday laundry (groan) and post holiday cleaning (no time to do per holiday clean as I usually would - bigger groan!)
Anyway meal plan for rest of month done with shopping list drawn up - over spent in holiday prep so no choice but to be very tight and stick to it! Can't decide if lidl or Mr m cheaper but will prob go to Mr m as in need of a walk.
Refining my resolutions and determined to stick to them.

As eBay is becoming less profitable due to postage (ie lesser bids due to higher postage) wondering if nearly new sale for baby stuff better option - jut really resent them taking 30% on top of £5 fee!

Night all, and have a lovely time tomorrow Kat! :)

I have impressed even myself. I am about to hit the hay to be up again at 0700.. three loads of cupcakes complete.. everything has edible pink glitter on it and all my bits and bobs are out and ready to be laden with goodies.. I shall check in tomorrow evening to see how everyone is getting on..

Hope people actually show up otherwise I am gonna be one fat kat by the end of the day...;-)

Finally had a sfd after a week of spending, managed to just stick to budget for planned night out, its been a while since I last went to a pub and didn't realise how much things had gone up nearly £4 for pint of cider!! Good job I had free babysitter otherwise it would've cost me a fortune, have 2 months now to save for next night out when parents are back again.
Hopefully sfd today packing for holiday and giving car a good clean.
    Have a lovely party nsk.
