Afternoon everyone,
I can't wait for the Sewing Bee either :j:j. I tried to find the accompanying book for MIL's birthday at Abakhan but they were asking £15 . Went to WHS today and they were asking £20 :eek:
Have had another spend day but shouldn't be paying for anything the next 2 days. We went to the cinema this morning to watch 'Wreck It Ralph' and only cost me £1.75 each plus a couple of drinks. DS loved it and he was so good I'm thinking of doing it more often at that price. For anyone interested, it's the Kids AM showings at VUE but Cineworld do the same for a similar price :money::money:.
Right, off to drop DS at MILs then off to weight watchers to help weigh.TOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -
Hello all,
Well yesterday I had to buy some food items but alot of them were yellow stickered :j:j:jso definitely saved some cash there. Had my hair cut before Xmas and the hairdresser made a reet mess of it:eek:, so have let it grow until yesterday where I decided to try another place..... I was quite dubious as she could only fit me in for a dry cut, but it definitely looks better and only cost £10:T:T.. Will definitely try there again.
A SFD for me today :A, on a day off and been out walking, hopefully will help with WW weigh in this week.

Another SFD for me. Nice as my sister is coming round for dinner and normally I end up spending a load of money on a nice meal, whereas I am using up freezer & store cupboard food tonight (plus general groceries bought yesterday). Will be spending tomorrow as it's my Dad's birthday.
Intrigued by the sewing bee programme, might have to switch that on at some point!:idea:LBM @1/4/13 £15,754

After having a rubbish couple of days financially, feel like I'm making progress again
Have sold 3 items on Ebay - £0.99 + £5.50 + £14.09 = £20.58
Planning to keep Ebay profits in Paypal account to build up & then pay off a CC at a later date
Also had another enquiry for lessons so my fingers are crossed that this will come together

Hi all,
Hope you're all ok? Another unbudgeted spend for me today. Feel like I'm really letting myself and DD down ATM and feeling a little disheartened. Sorry for the moaning miserable post.PAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

Evening everyone, how are you all?
krustylouise, don't feel disheartened by your spends. What's spent is spent so unless you can take it back, accept that the money's gone and try to focus on why you bought it. Do you need it? Will you use it? How's our budget looking for the rest of the month? Is there somewhere you can claw the money back from - sell something on ebay maybe?
I've had a lazy SFD day today. After a long nighshift, I slept til mid afternoon (always good for the purse-strings!) and only ventured out to post my ebay things. I was planing to go to yoga tonight but couldn't really be bothered - bad Siouxsie, must make time on Thursday for a class!! So, I'm catching up with a spot of housework and doing my laundry. Speaking of laundry, I will need to break my SFD run in the next few days - my duvet has been bagged up and is ready for the launderette (too big for my machine) so I'll need to take in. I'll try and make it a supermarket/petrol spend day as well so that it's all done at once.
Keep up the good work everyone. kat'll be back on board very soon - I think she'll be happy with us

SFD from me.
In more exciting news, I'm typing this from my brand new shiney iPad mini!
It came free with the car randomly so I'm enjoying it guilt free
I was going to buy one in November as a treat for paying off the loan early but instead I can have 1 now!:rudolf: DF by Xmas 2018: #83 £8,250/£15,000 55% :rudolf:

Checking in! Forgot to do so yesterday, which was spend free. Today I went and get fabric for a patchwork quilt I am starting this week. It was in the budget though. Tomorrow is very busy, so I'm hoping that this will mean that I gave no time to spend any money!Seriously money saving0

Hi,
Thanks, no I can't take it back, and DD will enjoy the trampoline so much and will probably use it every given second bless her! So I gues entertainment wise it'll be cheaper in the long run.
I've already sold some things on eBay today and will continue to do so. Budget this month is fine, I get some money in my account tomorrow (which I use for groceries but don't need any this week with DD away) it was savings thy I spent but I'm spent up now :0/
Oh well I'm sure I'll feel better about it when I see DD's little face on Friday :-DPAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

My next question was going to be is it worth it which you've answered with a resounding YES!!! I've learned to think of things I spend money on in terms of what they're worth to me rather than what they cost. This sounds like something of great value! In that case, enjoy it0
