Hello! SFD for me today - stayed at home doing a bit of spring cleaning. Checked the banking online and it's looking quite good for the month ahead so far.
I've started a healthy eating regime to lose a bit of weight before I go and get my summer clothes - I want to go the second week of May, which gives me 5 weeks to lose 10lbs, which should be possible I think.
I'd also like to 'find' £500 to go shopping with - that might be possible, I'll do my best!!Seriously money saving0 -
Hi all
Sorry I havent checked in for a few days, happy belated Birthday Kat. Hope you are feeling better PJ, what a disappointment over the holiday, still at least you are on the mend which is the main thing.
Oh I am not doing very well and I feel really fed up. I got really stung with the Ebay postage increases, I genuinely didnt know it was happening and I lost money on two things. Then I took the kids out on Friday and stupidly ended up spending £30.
Oh and I forgot DS needs to pay his fees for cricket, another £30. I think I might be able to scrape through and still overpay the cards but I need to be really really frugal now - and with the kids off for another week that wont be easy!0 -
42 of my auction items have finished today and only four sold, making a massive total of £10.94 before postage costs are taken off. I shall retire early on that...
Thankfully these were all relisted items so minimal effort was required, otherwise it really is not worth the effort to list all the little items anymore.

Hi all,
Hope you all had a lovely Sunday. I spent money today - money I didn't budget for!!!! Grrrr totally forget that I had a birthday party to attend. I bought the birthday boy (he was 1) a cheap book and I put £10 in his card. I also spent £4.80 on drinks for myself (DD's drinks and food were supplied) and I also went food shopping. I spent £15 in aldi and £20 in morrisons. I will update my sig.
Hope you have a good nightPAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

2 spend days for me at the weekend, 1 planned (£10 petrol) other not (£35 food and boots reheeled etc)
Really struggling with unplanned spends, thought I had everything covered for the month and would've been ok but forgot to factor in outside influences (parents announcing they were coming round, had things in for mine and dd's lunch but nothing they would eat as they can be fussy).
Also found out could be up to £200 a month worse off from next month so really need to get my head round budgeting and sticking to it as its going to be getting very tight0 -
Good morning all, checking in for Monday and hoping everyone has a good week ahead.
Two spend days for me i'm afraid, day out with the kiddies in the Sun on Saturday (free as we used our National Trust Membership), but I did buy a bag of cookies for the carSunday, was food shopping day, I managed to keep to just under £80, and is budgetted for, but still felt like far too much, must work harder!
Upside is that we are all stocked up for the week ahead, so lost of spend free days I hope, on SFD number 5 today. Working on a Wolf portrait today and a bit of knitting on my teddy.

Good morning everyone. I didn't update yesterday as I kind of got into crochet
Managed to crochet a square that isn't very square :rotfl:
Yesterday DH and I took DS to the play barn and spent £3.40 on 2 teas for us. Stopped off on the way home at Aldi and caught a random stock clearance sale as well as getting dishwasher tablets. Managed to get some dummies for baby for 32p, a baking tray set for £1.75, sports top for DH for 99p and pizza base mix for 25p. I haven't quit worked out which budgets it's coming from but will do later.
I made lots of raspberry biscuits yesterday so that should do us for snacks for today. We are taking a trip to Abakhan Fabrics in Wales with MIL so will probably be a spend day unless MIL treats us. I will try and be careful but it's mine & MILs 'sweet shop':rotfl:TOTAL DEBT £12,212.46/£2000 paid offDebt Free Goal September 2017#106 Emergency Fund £482.53/£10000 -
